It’s the Inno RT202. It’s meant for use with the trail rail system or equivalent bed rails. If you do not have a bed rail system, they have the RT201 which clamps under the side of the bed kinda like a tonneau. I have been looking into the RT202 myself

I don’t notice a difference. Only thing is no backup camera but more space in the back.

Thanks for the idea - I assumed, incorrectly, that it would be stable just laying in the bed. Does it move around during transport?

If I have the front tire strapped to the LH rear bed tie-down it is very stable. I have a rubber mat too, so that keeps it from wanting to move as well. The trail head is a mile from my house, so sometimes I don't strap the tire and it moves a little. It's worth the extra 15 seconds to put the strap around the tire.

Nope, still a big fan.

I did recently add a Diamondback, so not using them anymore, but used them a lot and was very happy with them, especially for the cost.

We use the Thule Apex XT hitch mounted bike rack - it fits 4 bikes and leaves the bed open to haul other stuff. It really comes in handy on other vehicles with a hitch because then you can still open the trunk with the bike rack and bikes attached.

A hack, since I haven't seen a fork mount to fit a fatbike+QR skewer, I strap my forks to the trail rail and stick gloves over the ends of my forks. The rear and the loose front tires all get strapped to the side rail. So far it's been solid, even on rough roads and I fit 2 fatbikes plus a cargo box with the tailgate closed.

I recently picked up a new Kona WOO. I carry it the same way as I carry my Stumpy midfat - I just put it in the bed and set the tailgate to the mid position. Sometimes I'll strap around the front tire to the LH rear tie-down in the bed.

Just finished a nice ride this morning in the snow. 14 F at the start, not too bad...

This seems like a great and simple method. I just tried it on mine. I run 2.6 tires and the front one pushes in snuggly under that drivers side rear tie down. I have a small ball end bungie cord that seems perfect for this too.

I had added a fork mount to my DIY trail rail, but may not end up using it unless I have multiple bikes, as I hate taking the wheel off.

Excellent. The only thing I forgot to mention (which you have obviously figured out) is the pedal position prior to lifting the bike into the bed. Once you figure out where the LH side pedal needs to be so that it is in the correct position when you roll the bike back a little, it's really easy.

Ended up buying the Inno RT202. Pretty good inexpensive option. Going to buy another one for my GF's bike. Both are 29ers, and don't have to take off any pedals or anything to mount it to the RT202. Fits the Mopar C-channels nicely. Seems pretty sturdy, will be putting it to a better test late-April when we drive 2 hrs to the Catskills. Didn't think to take a pic of the bike, but did get the clamps/mounts (I'll take zoomed-out pics and post them later). Can also leave the silver, vertical brackets in place and just take off the matte black tops (with the two Allen bolts) and still close the tonneau cover without issues.
