Damn. I didn't think about cutting the covers off. I think I threw them away with the straps
There is actually a kit that has them Yakima 8002122 but good luck finding it. I called Yakima and they said next Summer for availability. That’s when I broke out the snips…..

yeah, the strapless conversion kit is just basically the cover with the strap removed and some t bolts. I bought two of them off of ebay last year just for the covers. I had to use my own bolts and channel nuts for my rhino bar.

I made cross bars from some aluminum I had and connected it to my DIY system. The picture with the bike up is just the test fit so not fully strapped down.

I started out with the Kuat NV2 that I had on my FoST. It was a 1 1/4 hitch so I needed a 2 in adapter and it ended up sticking out too far.

So I added the KB Voodoo High Rise system and 2 Yakima High Roads racks. Much better and easier for me.

It looks like you can still roll up the bed cover. Is it easy to do with rack installed?

I typically only roll with 2 bikes. This option was $100.00 on etrailers.com and it held the bikes firm all the way from Los Angeles to Zion. Has a key lock and I ran a long cable through the tie downs for security. Best thing is the tonneau goes over it and straps back onto the bar to prevent it from contacting the rear glass. Comes off in seconds if you just want to use it occasionally.

Everyone should carry!!!
I like this option because I know it would be reliable and solid but mostly for having a reasonable price.

The DBVooDoo ones are $515 for cost bed supports - which I'd rather have - but that is a stoopid high price.

Anyone know a reasonble priced way of making cross bed rails that will work with my Access brand tonneau rolled up? The Access velcro is on rails that stick up about an inch so I'd have to make L's to hold the cross bars above that and still be strong. All advice appreciated.

Yes the tonneau can still be rolled up, it takes a little more effort, but can still be done.

No videos but below is a picture of the inside of the bed with the attachment points. I used the low profile strut channel with angle iron.

I got the Fox Factory Overland pad. The fit isn’t great because it either covers the handle or the camera. I kind a found a happy medium but it looks scrunched up.

the one plus is the my roll up tonneau cover still works with it installed

Thx for the idea and the link! Seems to be an option for me. Would it be suitable for 3 bikes(we got 2 gravel and 1 mtb bikes.)
Thanks in advance and thx for this thread!
You can fit at least 4 bikes with this set up.
