Sticker is in! It's official! I know it's a duplicate, but gotta brag now while I am able.... Everyone else will be passing me by in the coolness factor soon enough with the Rubicons and Mojaves

Keep us California folks updated on your tax and registration dealings with California DMV.
I know it “should” be a simple process but with you living here, then purchasing out of state, then trying to register here I can see DMV going full blown fucktard.
I purchased a RZR up in Oregon, hauled it down to 29 Palms, even took it to DMV like a good informed citizen on the first visit, turned into a four month fiasco in which I ended up needing nothing more than what I presented on the first damn day.?

California used to charge an extra $300 to register a vehicle from another state. …Ask me how I know that twice!

That sounds like such a hassle.

I've got a $35k 5k lb paperweight SRT10 in my driveway right now because I bough it in Texas, and registered it in Minnesota, but they converted the title to salvage because of a fender bender in Illinois 15 years ago and a single entry "disposition to be determined" by the IAA in Chicago. Been trying to fix it for 2 years now. I've got paperwork from the insurance company and everything, Minnesota just doesn't care. It makes me nervous to bring a brand new Tennessee purchase back into Minnesota. They're going to screw something up, I almost guarantee it.

I wish I had bookmarked the DMV page that outlined how to register and what is required. I am going to have to search for it again. I am hoping to have all the paperwork filled out prior to an appointment and bring in the DMV website printout so they can't screw things up. I have had good luck with the folks at my local office, so I am hopeful it will be as painless as possible (minus thousands in reg fees of course).

I will post the page when I find it again.

So, to calculate fees, I found this site:

https://www.dmv.ca.gov/wasapp/FeeCalculatorWeb/newVehicleForm.do

For registering out of state purchase I found this fact sheet with a whole host of forms:

https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehic...egistering-a-vehicle-purchased-from-a-dealer/

The registration form has areas for if bought out of state. I am going to be taking this form (REG 343) with me to Boise when I pick up my Gladiator.

I will let everyone know how it goes when I get it registered.

I may have won the race to first sticker, but I wonder who will get the first picture posted... ?

Hello all. New to the Gladiator club and wanted to introduce myself.
I purchased my Gladiator about a month ago, used, in the Denver area. Drove it back here to SLC that day.
Everything you see on it was as it was when I bought it.
I have not added anything….Yet.
That changes this week actually.
I have next to zero off-roading experience but I am eager to start my education.
I’ve been reading a lot of information on the forum and know I have a ton to take in and learn about.

Nice! Welcome aboard. Find you a nearby 4X4 club and you will be in good hands during your learning period.

I just got word that my order is at the ramp, but they have no idea of how long it takes to make it through Rail yard and transport logistics. I also learned (confirmed) that there are no new Jeep incentives this month for Mojave trims. The no new incentives is the greater disappointment, but I fully see that these are truly just first world problems.

I thought incentives usually weren’t released until around the 5th or so? But yeah, I don’t really see it changing. Around here it’s only $1K for the Overland and the High Altitude.
Back when I almost pulled the trigger on Billet Silver or Hydro Blue there was a $2500 incentive plus the $500 Military incentive for Mojave and Rubicon.
I’m gonna be more than happy with my Gobi Mojave though, trust me.
