Keep us California folks updated on your tax and registration dealings with California DMV.Sticker is in! It's official! I know it's a duplicate, but gotta brag now while I am able.... Everyone else will be passing me by in the coolness factor soon enough with the Rubicons and Mojaves![]()
California used to charge an extra $300 to register a vehicle from another state. …Ask me how I know that twice!Keep us California folks updated on your tax and registration dealings with California DMV.
I know it “should” be a simple process but with you living here, then purchasing out of state, then trying to register here I can see DMV going full blown fucktard.
I purchased a RZR up in Oregon, hauled it down to 29 Palms, even took it to DMV like a good informed citizen on the first visit, turned into a four month fiasco in which I ended up needing nothing more than what I presented on the first damn day.?
That sounds like such a hassle.Keep us California folks updated on your tax and registration dealings with California DMV.

So, to calculate fees, I found this site:I wish I had bookmarked the DMV page that outlined how to register and what is required. I am going to have to search for it again. I am hoping to have all the paperwork filled out prior to an appointment and bring in the DMV website printout so they can't screw things up. I have had good luck with the folks at my local office, so I am hopeful it will be as painless as possible (minus thousands in reg fees of course).
I will post the page when I find it again.
Nice! Welcome aboard. Find you a nearby 4X4 club and you will be in good hands during your learning period.Hello all. New to the Gladiator club and wanted to introduce myself.
I purchased my Gladiator about a month ago, used, in the Denver area. Drove it back here to SLC that day.
Everything you see on it was as it was when I bought it.
I have not added anything….Yet.
That changes this week actually.
I have next to zero off-roading experience but I am eager to start my education.
I’ve been reading a lot of information on the forum and know I have a ton to take in and learn about.

I thought incentives usually weren’t released until around the 5th or so? But yeah, I don’t really see it changing. Around here it’s only $1K for the Overland and the High Altitude.I just got word that my order is at the ramp, but they have no idea of how long it takes to make it through Rail yard and transport logistics. I also learned (confirmed) that there are no new Jeep incentives this month for Mojave trims. The no new incentives is the greater disappointment, but I fully see that these are truly just first world problems.
