Chewing gum in rear vent

My 5 year old decided to stick chewing gum in the rear vent facing her. I’ve been trying to pick it out but it’s hard to reach in there. Can I pop these out somehow?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Take a compressed air can and flip it over.

shoot it at the gum, freezing it.

pop off with a plastic scraper.

Wd-40 works too. Or goo gone. Yes, you can get the clip out, but I wouldn't risk breaking it.

I have had good luck with a steam cleaner on carpet, might work here.

Do you have a set of needle nose pliers or hemostat's? After freezing with canned air then maybe you could pull it out.
FYI: The hemostat's are handy for soldering.

I would tell my kid you get it all out and Daddy would be very happy and let them pick at it til it’s mostly gone then freeze it

the freezing trick works, just make sure you don’t break the vent flap as it will get more brittle too.
