Prepping things to eventually put my Oracle bumper-mount backup lights back in and wire them so I can turn them on any time instead of just in R. That way they'll light up my trailer when hooking up, or when loading and strapping a car onto my trailer.

Also getting ready to put the winch solenoid in place so when I finally get that far, everything will already be in place electrically speaking.

Making a bracket to mount the solenoid ->

I don't care for the wire ends/terminals I used on the wires - too stiff and long, so I may cut them all off and put on different wire terminals and water-proof heat shrink.
Ignore the black button - it's covering a boo-boo I had in this piece of acrylic.
I had to recess the screws. When I tried to use the factory bolt in the rear-left hole, I had a little issue with the hood strut hitting the bolt head slightly. That drove me nuts so I drilled the acrylic so I could set these shallow bolt heads down into the plastic. The tops of the bolt heads are now not much higher than the factory bolt would be and using putty on these bolts, I closed the hood and found there's now plenty of clearance between the hood strut and the bolts.
This setup will also make it easy to install a diode to prevent feedback toward the switches when the truck is in reverse.

I really was not feeling the standard Mojave colors “GLADIATOR” tailgate badge, so I swapped said badge for satin black on gloss outline. Not 100% certain it is actually “satin” (some shimmer) and not “matte” (flat AF). However, no longer is it mismatch orange and overall screaming out loud from far(ther) away.
I like it a lot better.

And here I was thinking the Mojave tailgate "Jeep" badge I saw on a blue Mojave the other day would look great on my blue Overland!

I agree, on your truck of that color - your change looks better.

Yeah, but mine was cheaper (5 or 6 bucks) ? and takes less space.
The far rear position I'll use for grounds. The other one will be used to connect a diode into the line going back to the bumper mounted backup lights.

I'd definitely not use their pigtail version - or I'd solder to their pigtails and use sealing heat shrink instead of those crimp on open ended connectors on their web site.

Picked her up from being ceramic coated. Money we’ll spent. Smooth as glass and the rain just runs right off.

Made my own tube door cover using motorcycle cargo netting and zip ties. Under $20. Didn't want want to pay $50 or $60 dollars for real ones. I like the open air feeling with the netting and they keep things mostly in the jeep!

What door frame did you start with?

Tried messing around with some vinyl and knifeless tape. I don't love the color, but it was fun to learn how to use everything for when I decide on another more permanent design eventually.

I hope nobody see that and wants to race you. You'll get your ass kicked :).

I got the one that you have to solder

The orange was more than a bit off and that made for too much orange across the tailgate. IMO.

I did not even have a decent picture of it, but yeah… no.

Thank you.

Oh... Okay...

I was looking for something like this... THANKS!!!
I just didn't want to pay $40-$50 for something and wanted it to be more streamlined and compact in an already busy engine bay so tossed together stuff I had on hand. I was out of the wire ends, the loops I wanted but I can deal with that later.
