Thanks for pics like this. I am getting ready to pick up a Gobi Sport S and want to put on these wheels and tires. Did you need to put on Rubicon shocks and springs because of rubbing?I always liked the name Scrambler . Gladiator is a full size truck in my opinion ( I think it depends on your age and if you grew up with them)
I wanted a Rubicon look. Dont need all the Rubicon items since I never used it on my last one. Just do light off road when we travel to CO.Thanks for pics like this. sweet deal. people around here are asking between $1200-1800 for the wheels and tires. suspension $200-300. I will get some of the factory running boards instead of the rock rails.I wanted a Rubicon look. Dont need all the Rubicon items since I never used it on my last one. Bought all the stuff on craigslist.
Protection rails for $300. Full Rubicon suspension $300. Steel skid plate free. Full rubicon wheels and tires $800. Rubicon owners are almost giving their stuff away.
Now I just need a rear steel bumper.
Those wheels and tires will fit without the lift but they look weird to me .
I hear ya... I was looking at the Gator but when my wife and I saw the Rubicon lettering on the Gobi clear coat during my Jeep Build, that was all it took.Fantastic color!!!! Glad I went with Gobi over Gator
What seats are these?I hear ya... I was looking at the Gator but when my wife and I saw the Rubicon lettering on the Gobi clear coat during my Jeep Build, that was all it took.
I had thought I would do this before I got mine but the Rubicon dash has grown on me and I like more than I thought would. I think if it wasn't the mat red color I would feel different.Didn't like the gray dash panels. Nothing else gray in the truck. I dont like the red on Rubicon either (unless it's a red truck). Wish all just came with the leather ones, like Overland.
Decided to paint the panels Gobi since the color can be seen inside on the door jams and roll cage.
CJ Offroad has a good instruction video on you tube. Sanding and waiting for paint to dry took the longest.
What do you guys think ?
I'm still partial to the leather ones. Wife loves it this way.
