  1. Getting Katzkin Leather. Could Use Some Input / Feedback

I'm going to get the process started next week to have Katzkin installed. Just curious what everyone has who's done it and if anyone in NC can recommend a shop around the Charlotte NC area. Still trying to decide what route I want to go, weather it be a basic black or some kind of stitching...
  2. Jeep wouldn't start this Morning

Went out and tried to turn it over and nothing it clicked a few times then started flashing all kind of messages saying the jeep was in drive and some other stuff. It got stuck in the run position on the stop/start button and I had to unhook the battery to get everything to reset. The auto...
  3. New Wheels Being Installed

Bit the bullet and bought new wheels. These are about the only ones I have found that I really like. Fuel Enduro D608 wheels, 5 for $948, seemed like a steal. Pictures to come with them mounted
  4. Help understanding Offset and Backspacing

I got my mind set on the Fuel Enduro D608 wheels. They are 17x9 with 4.5 backspacing and -12mm offset. I'm trying to understand how they will sit on my JT. I have Max Town with the wide track axles and am running 37 12.5 17 tires on the stock wheels currently. I'm looking to go back to some poke...
  5. Can't decide which ones. Help!

Never been a fan of fuel wheels but I found these locally from a shop and kinda dig them and the price is right. $968 for 5 of them seems like a deal. I had my eye on the Tactik circle 8 wheels. Basically got my search decision down to these 2 wheels just can't decide. Tactik wheels are $89.99 a...
  6. What's up with Shops

So today I help my buddy install his Rugged Ridge front bumper on his JL Rig, exact bumper I got and he's running close to the same setup lift wise that I got, 2.5" Readylift SST lift kit. That part turned out great Before we started he was asking me about how it drove with the new lift...
  7. Pain Chipping on Hard Top

Anyone know of a good paint match for the Hard Top. Not sure how I got a chip in it and when I was spraying the jeep off it got worse. I need to do something before it continues to get even worse. Anything at Advance Auto or Autozone I can pick up? Sucks, my Hardtop in my JKU went 4yrs before it...
  8. Parking next one always leaves a smile

Love it!!!! Also gives me appreciation for mine not looking so stock, but I'm not hating though, to each his own. Love the Blue!!!!!
  9. Tail light Guards/Covers

Before anyone says anything I know these aren't going to protect anything from damage so I'd like to get those comments out of the way because that isn't particularly what I'm looking for. With that said anyone gave these a try or have them on their jeep. Found them tonight and they are cheap...
  10. Might Help MPG'S

Noticed over the past few weeks that my MPGs have went up some since I removed the Wheels spacers a few weeks ago from my jeep. Not sure if anyone else has had similar results. Other than it being warmer I can't seem to think of anything else that could of done it. I ran 37 inch Goodyear Kevlar...
  11. Swap the Lug nuts

Went from the chrome colored ones to black. Was thinking about new wheels but I think I'm back to loving the stock ones again. Best thing is I removed the wheel spacers last week and the JT is staying a lot cleaner.
  12. Black Lug Nut Caps

Anyone got a good recommendation on some black lug nut caps for the stock Lug nuts. I went and bought some black lug nuts but they aren't long enough for the wheels. I'd rather run the stock OEM ones honestly and just put some kind of caps on them. Tell me what you got.
  13. Weird windshield wiper event!!!!

So not sure what happened, well I know what happened but can't figure how it happened. This morning it was pouring down rain and as I was driving up I-85 my driver side windshield wiper decided to start going crazy and stop goin in sync with the passenger side one. Eventually it stopped working...
  14. Kanati Trail Hog 37 12.5 17 update

So I'm at just over 7300 miles on these and haven't rotated them yet because I had them mounted about 2,000 miles before my last oil change so I'll rotate them at about 10,000 miles. Specs on Greenballs website say these are 18/32 brand new and they were new when I had them mounted. I'm at 15/32...
  15. Bed Extender and Tri-fold?

Asking again in another thread. Just want to know if anyone has successfully installed a bed extender with a Soft Tri Fold cover. I am about to pull the trigger on a bed extender and just curious about what kind of modification I need to do if any at all.
  16. Finally found a Jeep Hat!!!!

I finally found a Jeep had that I like that's a snap back and not a flat bill hat because we bend our bills where I'm from,LOL!!!! I also like hats that sit low profile rather than tall on your head. Found it in the ManCave store in the mall. They got another blue and white one I might go back...
  17. Anyone try this on their Rubi Rock Rails

Don't see why they wouldn't work on a JT. Found some of the Rampage ones on Amazon. I'm referring to the removable step. Just wondering how hard it would be to do it. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/bolt-on-steps-to-rubicon-rock-rail.23781/page-2
  18. Almost built a Bronco Friday until the wife flipped the script

Was about to build a Bronco 4 door Base with the Sasquatch package on Friday and then sell the 2016 BMW X5 50I when we took delivery of the Bronco. Dealer told me we would have it by March. Then last minute the wife was trying to flip the script and have me sell the Gladiator and keep the BMW. I...
  19. Alloy vs Steel wheels

I think I'm about ready to buy some different wheels for my jeep. I'm not looking for nothing crazy or fancy or even flashy, just something basic that gets the job done. With that said I'm leaning to getting steel wheels again since that's what my stock wheels are. I know weight is about 14lbs...
  20. 37 12.5 17 tires no spacers

Just had a stud snap off one of my spacers at the tire shop, now I'm second guessing running spacers and just tucking the wheels. Not that I think they are unsafe but I have been considering removing them for a while and running the tires tucked, just haven't saw any pictures. If your running a...
