When replacing a failed fuel system, part of the process requires scoping the cylinders for scoring or damage. Ask for this report.
The oil should be changed as well. Ask fora sample or collect one yourself. Ask for the oil filter and cut it open looking for glitter.

Hopefully you've ordered and received your Schrockworks bumper. They went out of business a few years back and left several customers and order in limbo.
I've had mine since 2013 and it's held up very well.
I've run into U0001 a few times although not steering related.
The fix in all but three cases was to check the CAN BUS connections, clean the connectors and reconnect. The pins often get corroded, can come loose or debris works its way into the connections.
In the other cases the issue...
Harken back to the great TP shortage of 2020...
You will have to find other alternatives. Not saying you can use a sock or paper towels, but I digress.
You can buy up a few now or buy a reusable filter like the K&N filters.
