  1. Improving suspension with no lift.

I have a Mojave and tow a decent sized trailer, not looking to go above 35" tires, and don't want to raise the CoG more than the RTT already has. With that being said, I have added a decent amount of weight to the truck to gear up for camping and am curious on options for shocks and springs...
  2. Have a local question

I'm in the Modesto area and trying to fond someone to do some electrical work. Does anyone know of a good shop in the area that can do battery, solar, etc installs?
  3. Step 22 Gear

Good to hear, I saw them at the Expo last year too, but we left there with a rooftop tent and that kind of killed the budget. Might have to look again soon.
  4. Shipping misshap from Northridge4x4

I'm not unhappy with Northridge 4x4, they have good customer service and quick delivery. I will continue to do business with them either way.
  5. Shipping misshap from Northridge4x4

So, I ordered a set of Teraflex Nomad split spoke wheels for my wife's Wrangler. They showed up way quicker than expected, and I was pleasantly surprised. Then I got another shipping notice from UPS for almost 200lbs. Another set of wheels showed up a few days later that I hadn't ordered. I...
  6. Having it all - JTRD sun buggy, trail rig and overlander

Good luck, I had a bit of sticker shock when I looked at my cart, so I get the price point. After getting this one though the quality appears to be top notch. It feels like this thing would support my weight. We will see how it works out, but at a minimum it gives us a bigger cooking area than...
  7. Having it all - JTRD sun buggy, trail rig and overlander

That's a heck of a list. We just got one of the iKamper Disco Tripods that might be a more versatile option than a full pull out kitchen. We will be testing it out on an overnight trip in a couple weeks...
  8. Sanctuary build

Well, one of my least visible mods showed up today, but if it makes long drives more comfortable it might be one of my favorites.
  9. What do u have coming in the mail?

5 teraflex wheels 2x DD SS5 amber combo lights 2x DD SS3 amber spot lights 2x DD hitch lights, one for wife's Wrangler Desert does it short seat jackers Accessory parts for Xtrusion Overland bed rack
  10. I need a steel rear bumper, any recommendations?

Nice bumper, curious if it is available locally without the swing outs. I don't want to add a bunch of weight that far back while also towing a trailer.
  11. I need a steel rear bumper, any recommendations?

I wish I could go with a high clearance bumper that moves the hitch up, but my trailer is pushing 5,000lbs. Unless one of them get rated for actual towing I'm not willing to switch it.
  12. Having it all - JTRD sun buggy, trail rig and overlander

Not at all, I'm going to need to remove the feet on the ARB because it is currently rubbing on the bottom side of the tonneau cover. If the feet were the right distance to fit between the raised parts of the bed it wouldn't be an issue, but it doesnt.
  13. Having it all - JTRD sun buggy, trail rig and overlander

Not sure if you've done much research on racks/tonneau covers, but I'm working with an Xtrusion-Overland XR1 rack mounted to a BAK Revolver hard rolling tonneau cover. So you can still seal up your bed, and mount a rack with tent and everything else.
  14. This is BIG. Introducing ELITE SERIES Headlights.

I know right? I was really hoping to get another year out of them, but oh well I guess. The company I bought them from appears to have tanked during covid, so no warranty.
  15. This is BIG. Introducing ELITE SERIES Headlights.

Preorder/group buy? Just told my wife last night that I wanted these if my headlights started having issues, get in my truck this morning and they are flickering like crazy.
  16. LED Bulb Replacement - IT WORKS!

Yep, the biggest issue with proper pattern on bulb replacement is them getting the diode placed consistently for proper reflection. Places with less consistent QC could end up all over the place for hot spots and bad patterns even if some are perfect.
  17. Looking for a front bumper

I ended up going with a Rock Hard 4x4 Aluminum stubby to keep the weight down. Looks like this one weight just a few pounds less than the factory plastic bumper. Not doing a winch, but looking at some auxiliary lighting for the bumper.
  18. If I had to start over... what I would buy again, what I would pass...

I haven't done a whole lot with mine yet, but the only thing I'd really consider doing differently is the tonneau cover vs soft topper. I like my tonneau for security, but sometimes the limit on space is annoying.
  19. Best area lights for camping (rack mount)?

I'm planning on these as camping/offroad area lighting. https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-2-sae-yellow-pro-standard-led-pod-pair.html Trying to figure out how I will wire them up still though. Have a switch in the cab, but also want one that will be accessible from the bed of the truck.
  20. 2 switch setup for bed rack lights

Trying to figure out how to wire up the bed rack auxiliary lights. I am putting a battery setup under the rear seat for my fridge, and want to run the rack lights off of it as well. I have a VOSwitch JL400 to control lighting from the drivers seat, but I want to add a switch at the bed to run...
