I saw my first one today too! I had a different reaction. I was surprised at the smaller size. It actually looks liked like a Land Rover to me. I liked the look. Keeping my JT but going down to the dealer and look at them in person. Might trade in my other vehicle. Agreed what I saw was...
I agree with others it must be the wrong parts. While the instructions aren't very good IMO, there are some really good videos out there. I didn't have any issues with holes or things no lining up
Yeah, I'm a douche and any horrible name you can call me. It doesn't phase me. Keep them coming if you think it hurts my feelings and if it makes you feel superior or helps you feel better about your financial decision.
You don't need to justify to me that you own a house and in 84 months...
It's interesting to me how people are putting words in my mouth that I never said. I never called the OP a moron. (Well the post you quoted, the person posting was just getting defensive and obviously had no smart financial plan).
My point is that MOST people that choose a long term finance...
I own other vehicles and many motorcycles. So I'm a member of multiple forums. If you scan the forums, you'd swear every vehicle/motorcycle I own is prone to some catastrophic failure waiting to happen.
What I've learned is people rarely, if ever post, that everything is okay, which is...
OMG 84 months!?!?!?! I would say ensure you have the extended warranty to cover it the entire life of the loan.
Just do regular maintenance and just take care of it. Fix things as they happen or appears to happen.
Enjoy it...
(I'm sorry, I just can't get over taking out a loan for that...
Just my .02 If you don't know what YOU want, save the money till you do. You'll spend the money now then find something you really want. For me, I'd wait till I knew exactly what I wanted or add to it till I can afford what I want.
More like the Engineer designs a better/stronger fastener, then upper management and finance see the cost and decide it's too expensive either to produce or install and decide on cheaper materials to save money....
I always find it interesting when non-degreed people think people with degrees...
I'm always cautious with tires I've not used before in the Snow and Ice. I will say those Falken M/Ts do very well. I've been pleasant surprised about stopping traction. Next week we head deep into the Rockies we'll see how they do offroad in deep snow...
+1 You definitely need to know what YOU want in a truck. I was in the same boat just a couple months ago. The Tacoma is rock solid when it comes to reliability. But for me there was no "excitement". It was truly a mid-sized Pick Up truck when it came to functionality. I like being able...
25 years driving in Colorado. As others have stated, if the snow is sticking to the road, it goes into 4x4. No issues. My JT is no different than any other truck Iāve owned. Iāve also never found the need for sandbags. Of course driving sensibly also hasnāt hurt either
I get alot of grief on this too. I did the math too and I came up with roughly the same numbers. I did as some people were "justifying" their purchase of the diesel based on the fuel savings.
Now I have ZERO issues with people choosing the diesel because they want it. I also feel don't have...
