I have the opportunity to purchase an OEM steel bumper with no fog lights. Are there adapters for the halogen fog lights to fit on the steel bumper? Thanks

Going through that journey now. I'm guessing you already know you have to buy 2 frame brackets to mount the rubi's metal skid plate?

The base sport and sport S without painted flares use a different fog light than the rubi and overland halogens or LED fogs. If your fogs are a 4 bolt setup already, you should be able to use these

IF they are a 3 bolt setup, I believe you can buy these and bolt them to the bumper directly

I can go look at the pile of parts I have after I replaced my OE steel bumper with a new one (it had the LED fogs) new bumper came with mounting brackets - if I have the original ones (and they turn out to be brackets not integral) I would gladly send them to anyone who wants to just pay the shipping. If I recall though - the energy absorber had steel cups integrated into it to hold the fog lights so this may not be that simple. I will check and post pictures.

Edit: (maybe this helps)

I am going through this right now. Just got a 3 piece Rubicon Steel Bumper.
Want to run my Sport S halogens. Is this plug and play or do I need the bracket?
Any update?

Which sport S bumper does your gladiator have? The one with the closeout panels or the overland style (should also have painted fenders)

Great question. I have the painted fenders. Not tied to the bumper.

Then the maximus bracket is what you need. Just finished my bumper swap Monday. Do you already have the rubicon frame brackets and bolts/rivnuts?

In a basket on Quadratec right now! Just wanted to make sure I did not need anything else.

Used this as my guide.

You're going to need a few things .... Give your parts department these numbers

Brackets (if the skid plate did not come with them) Right side - 68353837AA and left side - 68353836AA

Rivnuts for the brackets to frame - Need 4 -- 06511076AA
Screws for rivnuts to hold brackets - Need 4 -- 6104414AA
Screws to hold skid plate to bracket - Need 2 -- 06512587AA

The skid plate is held by 5 of these on the bumper. My bumper was missing a few of these. Order as needed 68355472AA

The only thing you might be missing is the bolts to attach your fog light brackets to the bumper. Mine had the unuts already there, but no bolts. A trip to the hardware store for some M6 bolts and washers finished it up for me.

Also, There are 4 bolts on the side of the front frame horns that attach a bracket behind the bumper mounting surface, I had to loosen mine a little to get the bumper/tow hook studs through..

Got the gist of it done. Skid plate brackets will be in on Monday.
Easy as all get out. Use an 18mm deep socket. 1/2in drive.
Bracket worked great.
