My Antidote retractable keeps everything dry. Why doesn't your rollnlock??

I wish I knew. We've had rain the last few weeks and I went out to a moldy recovery bag and soaked bed rug.

One other thing to keep in mind is never roll it up when there is water on the surface. Once it rolls, the water drips onto the under side and will then drip inside once you close it again. I found that out the hard way during a rain storm when I had to get things out in a hurry.

I really wish someone made a one piece, hinged lift tanneou cover. I had one on a previous truck and it was a great way to have a water proof cover with good security while keeping a completely open bed.

I might be switching to the Diamondback Switchback when I can justify spending the extra money.

That's what I love about mods. Everyone has their own purpose to build and Queso is being built to overland. I am building mine to tow behind my RV and still use.as a.pickup at home. (First two tows and Lowes runs under my belt) The occasional trip to exercise my 2A rights when not towing... I can lock them up in the back and not worry....and anything I put there is out of sight of prying eyes.
So far all stays nice and dry....fingers crossed.

I was delayed in getting the MetalCloak tie rod and drag link installed. The factory drag link end failed with 1200 miles and 37”. So, added the new parts.

Added EVO Rockers… there is a factory bracket on passenger side that was removed. The center body mount brackets needed to be trimmed.

Added Goose Gear, on the 40 side used the longer version which requires removing tray on driver side and cutting 3/4” off a plastic trim retainer. Now more room to push ARB Refrigerator back.

Added iKamper using custom aluminum pucks.

First night out, many to come… breakfast was steak and eggs, photo before the eggs

Installed the ARB compressor using the Grimm OffRoad Bracket.
