1:24 Fast & Furious Jeep Gladiator

Saw this at Walmart the other day and I couldn't resist. It's not bad for $15. I would prefer a 1:18 scale model. I'm hoping that Maisto comes out with a 1:18 version. The will have to tide me over until I can afford the 1:1 version.

I did same thing. I had a bought a black rubicon model, but it looked more like an overland. I just ordered this one so I can swap tires and upgrade from soft to hard top.
Figure modifications can always be done with super glue.

my thoughts exactly; a little glue and modeling plastic can make it look like your pers ride/ build.

Very cool...I might need to grab one of those. We just snagged a couple Hot Wheels at Target for 99 cents. We got 2 and looked through the entire display (my wife was even looking, ha).

My 4 year old is still playing with them as we speak...he goes around saying, "loook ouut forrr Jeeeeep Gadiatorrrr!" and then runs over the other cars. I tell him to make sure to trample the Priuses.

Is there any way to salvage the Jeep Gladiator name badge on the side if I wanted to paint this Gator? Sadly, I fear that detail might be lost if painted.

If it is just. a decal like model cars it may Come off if you soak it with water (wet towel) and see if it will move.

Unfortunately, no. It's printed directly on the model.

My model upgrade project isn’t going as plannned, which is probably more representative of real life. Although both of these were listed as 1/32, they are different sizes. Black one is much higher quality too. Heavier, working hood, front wheels turn, lights; which makes since; $10 vs $25.
I did swap the tires; not bad. Looks about like stock 33’s. Now, gotta get 37’s.

You need some granite crystal touch up paint for the wheels so they look oem.
