What relay are you pulling?
In my Camaro SS I typically pulled both ECM fuses rather than any relays on that one. I guess I could have pulled a pump relay instead.

This also had the benefit of fully powering down the memory in the PCM and then it would revert the fuel tables back to stock when it drifted too far off if your gas was premium enough.

On the Jeep I haven't done this because I haven't parked in sketchy enough places overnight to warrant it - but if I did, I'd probably yank a PCM fuse and a fuel pump relay (just guessing without looking at my truck).

That only works if you lock the hood down with a quality lock Thieves today know these systems as good as any factory technician, they aren’t out for a joy ride they are shipping to foreign countries

I don't suspect many thieves (yes, the professional ones) are troubling themselves with trying to use their scan tools and key emulators to steal a vehicle, find out it wont start, then go investigating the fuse box for which fuses and relays are missing.

If they are lifting the hood its to unplug the horn and plug in their tools - not troubleshoot. Move on to the next easy target.

In any case, I have more important problems to worry about. If someone steals it I'll buy another one. It's mostly stock anyway.

However, if one lives in such an area or finds value in the investment - you have my support.

I live in a very nice part of San Diego, it's just SD's proximity to MX that tips the scale on this...
I was down in Lemon Grove today to finish up some job stuff. Little disappointed Coop’s BBQ wasn’t open. Haven’t had that in YEARS!!!!

extension cord plugged into a 110V receptacle, connect it to the frame so it’s looking for an open ground. Just make sure there’s no standing water around the rig, (as not to do forever damage), your just focusing on a good pop to educate.
