I am Curious as to what you were told about GCBs over LCAs. I was thinking about the BDS 2" lift LCAs.My GCBs are in the top hole. A Jeep speciality shop in Fenton, MI. (Unlimited Offroad) installed my AEV lift. The guy explained to me why GCBs and not control arms. Also explained to me why the top hole. Admittedly, I do not know a lot about newer straight axles (first Jeep), but what he explained to me made perfect sense.
I absolutely love the way my JT drives and I cannot imagine it driving any better than it does and as fast as it will allow me to.
I will add that kept my tires on the narrowest end of the spectrum and on wheels that have the proper hub bore size (71.5).
35x10.5x17 on 8.5” wide 0 offset Methods.
255/85R17 on base Mojave wheels and 1.5” wheel spacers. Tire “poke” damn near exact as the 0 offset Methods.
Just thought to share this here, is all.
