I have this new to me JT with a hodge podge lift kit. I want to replace it with a full proper kit. Would I be looking at a Rock Krawler 2 or 3 inch lift to maintain roughly the same look I have now? 35's - Don't want 37's.

24.5 inches from axle centerline to the "bend" on the oem fender (pictured)

I’d go for the 3”. Not because Mo is Betta but because you don’t want 37” NOW. In 6-7 months when you look at the Jeep and that little thing in the back of your mind (called the Devil) asks you “What would 37” look like on there?”, then you’re already set up for em. :like:

I really dont want 37's - actually considering a skinnier tire.

Do yourself a favor and do the 4 link rear upgrade. Night and day difference without that track bar in the rear, absolutely love how my jeep drives now.

Really? I've never driven anything with a 4 link. Easier on bumps and things?

It takes bumps better for sure. But then you'll want to upgrade shocks to something spicy.

I’ve had mine on for 3 weeks now and absolutely love the way it drives in the freeway. Also no more head toss on speed bumps, which I deal with daily. Can’t wait to get it on some dirt next month to see how it performs.

Just sharing some research. This is from the RK website, 1.5 inch lift for a JT. I added the measurements

I think you've talked me into this.

There’s a fellow member on here with a bright green/yellow Mojave and he posted quite a bit about it. After driving a 4 inch lifted rubicon with it installed at an offroad event I went home and pulled the trigger. The rubicon had a ton of flex and the owner swore the highway drive/ride was night and day difference…he was right. I’m at 2.5 rear and won’t be going any higher so the rep at RK told me to use the proper bump stop length in the rear and I’ll be fine even thow it says 3 inch or higher on the description.
