How can I tell if this happens?I'd be concerned that the springs might fully collapse and the coils contact each other before the bump stops hit.
You can flex it and take a look to see if the springs are fully collapsed. An easy, inexpensive option would be to order the stackable bump stops that Metalcloak makes and install 1 or 2 pucks if needed. How can I tell if this happens?
I am just using the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit. It included two 1" spacers, two .5" spacers, and some bump stop extenders that go on the axle side.It is just the spacers and that's what I was concerned about also. What was the lift on yours, I want to install 35s on mine
Yea what that fella said belowHow can I tell if this happens?
I'm not sure if that would or wouldn't be a problem on the Rusty's kit - I just know that Teraflex includes extensions on their shorter kit - so it may be a worthwhile concern to check. You can flex it and take a look to see if the springs are fully collapsed.
