Purchased my Magnuson Supercharger getting it installed at TE Motorsports which is a verified installer for Magnuson. It has been hell. First they said my stock PCM was unlocked previously, (even though it get locked back) they required me to purchased a unlocked PCM from HP tuners which I did.

Once TE Motorsports got the HP Tuner unlocked PCM in, they were getting multiple check engine lights after flashing the Magnuson tune. I was told by TE Motorsports, Magnuson Support can take up to 48 hours to reply to figure this out. 4 weeks later, my jeep is still in the shop waiting on Magnuson to figure out how to get my car tune to work. (Without Magnuson Supercharger - No Check engine lights no issues).

Magnuson Support is a 10 out of 10. HP Tuner support is a 3 out of 10. I had to show previous issue people were having to HP tuners from them to agree with me.

The most frustrating thing is I'm a IT guy not a Car guy. Yet I feel TE Motorsports has no clue what they are doing.

Here is my HP Tuner log file Below.

Has anyone had these issue or can help point me in the right direction to fix it?

I had TE Motorsports put in Spark plugs gapped at 0.028-0.030 as well.

Check Engine light codes: P0451 - P057B - P0306

VCM Suite Product: VCM Scanner 4.11.1263 Beta

Trouble Codes:
P04D1 - EGR Temperature Sensor C Circuit High (Pending, Current, Permanent)
P057B - Brake Pedal Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance (Permanent)
P0306 - Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected (Permanent)
Controller Type ID By OS: 21126

I installed an unlocked PCM with my stock file (for now) and ran into the P0300 code as well, and had very rough idling. Had to do a cam reset and it fixed it instantly.

Oddly, though, I just got back from some local driving (about 10 minute chunks, with 3 stops) and got the P057B right as I turned into my neighborhood.

I cleared the DTCs and did a quick drive to get some gas, and it didn't come back. Hopefully it was a fluke and nothing serious/recurring.

Do realize that if you run Dave's tune, even if its Absolutely positively superior to the Magnusson tune, then you lose their 3/36 powertrain warranty.

I'm not trying to dissuade you from using Dave's tune. In fact, just the opposite. His tune will run better and most likely be much safer.

Honestly, I'm trying to open the eyes of anyone who thinks this kind of project is plug and play. Its really not for a daily driver unless you have another vehicle you can drive while its down or you are a highly experienced "vehicle modifier" and understand all the risks.

About a year ago I asked in the forced induction forum if anyone had had a truly plug and play experience with any of the kits. I didn't get a single "yes". Not one.

I do understand how things work this is only my 7th jeep. Warranty was very clear on what they require. The kit is 100% plug in play when it comes to bolting on without cutting and modifying. ECM issues are common when you deal with Turbo's or Superchargers. That is what forums like this help with. I own 5 vehicles and will 100% be daily driving my Jeep. I also drive my Merc AMG with upgraded Turbos, Meth on e85. Owning a jeep the last thing you should worry about it Warranty its about the fun and the 4x4.

I will 100% use @DAVECS1 tune. If I blow the motor, I'll buy a used one and buy forged internals, if I dont blow the motor, I will enjoy it as is.

Thanks

So like I said. My statement wasn't for you. You clearly fit into the " highly experienced vehicle modifier" groupI mentioned above.

I was also pretty clear that its not a good idea for a daily driver unless you have another car. Which you do.

The forced induction forum is filled with stories of sadness and anxiety written by people who think this stuff is plug and play. And no plug and play doesn't just mean the hardware. For the system to work requires software. Magnusson sells their system as plug and play. It isn't. Which you clearly understand.

Frankly, the fact that this is your 7th jeep is pretty irrelevant. The fact that you have upgraded an AMG Benz is totally relevant.

your whole post is irrelevant and has no purpose in my post. It seems your here to complain instead of help. You might want to go back to Karensland.com
