The GCWR of the Diesel is really where the difference is going to be for each trim level. Right now the Max Tow gets the highest at 12800lb.

Can someone explain the Rubi Diesel 4x4 options? What is standard? What is optional? And is the 'Full-time' option a selection or is that how it runs? I'd like the low 4:1 but don't want a full-time system. Still want manual T-case.
TIA.

If you are looking at a Diesel (DFV) you don't have the choice in the full time. It is only available on the V6 Auto transmission.

4:1 ROCK-TRAC HD FULL TIME 4WD SYS M/H DFT; N/A W/DEM; N/A W/DFV

So, what does it come with? Still 4:1 or no?

Page 20 on the order guide states Rubicon and Mojave get wide axles (search DJF and DRF).

Edit:
It gets added to the Sport with the Max Tow package, but not the Diesel.
Just came back from the dealer and getting ready to order a Diesel.
Max tow package on the Sport S gas list the front axle as a M210 Wide DJF, rear axle M220 Wide DRF.
No Max tow on the diesel....regular tow package Sport S Diesel List the front axle as a M210 DJE, rear axle as M220 DRE.
Dealership could not confirm if they were wide, but managed to confirm both are D44's.
On another note, they offered the Mopar 2.5" lift installed with 37" tires for about 4300.00. I was told I would have tire and wheel options at some point.
I usually do all my own work on any jeep I've owned.
What do you think?

If that includes your choice of tires and wheels it’s a good deal

If I understand correctly, Max tow includes DJF and DRF axles, with 4:10 gearing, and that the DJE and DRE axles are the same 44s, but with 3:73 gearing. So if I understand, the Diesel will in fact get max tow by default? Discuss.

Okay, no one is answering your questions.

ALL JT's are equipped with Dana 44's!

Sport, Sport S, and Overland models have 3.73 gears standard width axles 67" wms to wms.

Rubicon and "MAX Tow pkg" (Sport & Sport S) have 4.10 gears wide track axles 68.5" wms to wms.

Diesel equipped versions ALL have 3.73 gears, JL and JT to include Rubicon models. No MAX tow option.

Early on FCA said that they could not get a big enough radiator to cool the diesel and that is why the TQ is de-tuned to 442 tq. RAM 1500 is 480 tq this year.

If you have anymore questions I will do my best to answer them.

So, what exactly are the DJE and DRE axles?

Also, the wide track axles come on the Mojave too.

DJE and DRE are standard width axle housing codes, 67"

DJF and DRF are wide track axle housing codes, 68.5"

Mojave spec axles are wide track housings. Mojave's are meant to be "high speed" models and that is why there is no diesel option. There is a lot of different equipment on the Mojave edition (long list of differences).

also found this
not sure if it helps
the wrangler diesel window sticker shows w210 axles
and the order sheet for a max tow package also reflects a w210 axle

if you look at other non diesel they list the axles as heavy duty dana 44
