I was curious if we'd see any mention of a strengthened rear frame across the model line up (like they advertise on the Mojave).

A local Jeep service manager told me a couple weeks ago that the JTs are having issues with rear frames bending - which surprised me as I haven't seen any mention of it in the forums. The only thing I can find is the one isolated case very early on where someone was likely going too fast in a whoops section pulling a trailer...

Anyone else heard of an ongoing issue like this???
I heard about this from someone IRL also

I thought the 'rear frame strengthening' on the Mojave consisted of just extra welds, and not any extra metal on the rails. Yes, they changed some of the mounting points (spring / shock mounts, etc), but I thought the rails themselves were the same, just with more weld points. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if at some point, they started doing some of those changes on all JT's. For now, I think they need to keep that as a selling point on their new trim level, so probably not until 2022 or later.

It would be my bet that your local SM hasn't personally seen any JT's with bent frames -- he likely just saw (or heard people talking about) the interweb stories of the same ones we all have seen and is passing the stories on. Lots of people wheeling their JT's pretty hard for a good while now - if there were a 'problem with frames', I think we would have heard about it by now, instead of just the 1 or 2 internet goofballs overdriving with heavy trailers.

Looks like the Build & Price is showing updates for 2021 now, but no new colors yet.

Like the dozens of, what was it Tacoma with crapped out frames, turned out to be one story repeated over and over and suddenly the web world had it that many dozens were being trashed.
It's one reason my old boss called the internet the mis-information stupid-highway.

Repeat a story often enough, it becomes fact.
Copy and past it in different areas with slightly different pictures or descriptions and suddenly one event becomes many.

2021 Jeep® Gladiator Fact Sheet
Auburn Hills, Mich. September 1, 2020 - The 2021 Jeep® Gladiator, engineered from the ground up to be the most off-road capable Jeep truck ever, builds on a rich heritage of tough, dependable trucks with an unmatched combination of rugged utility, authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, clever functionality and versatility. Powertrain options include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with engine stop-start (ESS) and, new for 2021, the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine with ESS. Equipped with a versatile box, a body-on-frame design, front and rear five-link suspension system, solid axles and electronic lockers, Gladiator is one of the few midsize trucks to offer a six-speed manual transmission in addition to its available eight-speed automatic.

Gladiator is built to handle the demands of an active lifestyle while delivering an open-air driving experience in a design that is unmistakably Jeep. A multitude of technology features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and safety features, such as Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection, adaptive cruise control and Forward Collision Warning-Plus, further Gladiator’s appeal. That is really odd, don't you think? In most cases a charge for premium for paint colors is added when they use a premium color. But to add on all but one color. Pure money grab? Trying to sell more white ones?

Nothing more than typical corporate greed. they do it simply because they can.

I noticed some of the options cost more as well, like hardtop. I think the 2021 Jeep cost went up $500 so folks think ah that's not too bad not noticing the options being more.

All new vehicle prices have gone up- at least those I've looked at lately compared to a year ago.

Does anyone have any educated guesses as to when Sarge might be available to order? Just waiting on that. Just wondering if there is a "typical" timeframe when the late availability colors come out . . . . am I waiting weeks or months?

Could be months - like the hydro blue was with 2020. Even the Wrangler doesn't show some of the colors to order that they say it will come with. Had the hydro blue been available in a 2021 Wrangler now, my wife would be owning one.
