From a safety standpoint, 65-70 MPH is about as fast as you wanna go. Besides, there are a lot of states that have laws that say you can't drive faster than 65 MPH towing a travel trailer.

I have a 22 Mojave and occasionally pull a 21ft TT that weighs probably around 5,500 lbs loaded up for a trip. It does really well doing so with one exception: hills/mountains. I live in AZ and it really struggles on long and/or steep inclines. If I lived in the Midwest or someplace flat like FL or TX I wouldn’t think twice about it. Out west however, no way. I have a F150 we use for 95% of the trailering we do.

I pull a 24' jayfeather with a stock rubicon in the pacific northwest, hills. Truck pulls it great till the hills. Just have to take your time. I wouldn't get anything heavier than 5k loaded trailer.
