I did the Clayton Overland + kit on my JT and got the following alignment specs. Anything I should adress? It’s a little “twitchy” to steer and has a slight pull right. Also did the Falcon steering stabilizer.

I’m thinking to increase front caster to around 6 degrees. Any advice appreciated.

While I have some strong opinions, @Clayton Off Road - is a different kind of vendor and it appears they go above and beyond with helping prospective and current customers. They also seem to be the most responsive vendor I’ve seen on this forum. Before asking for a bunch of opinions, get it from the horses mouth. He’s been great from what I’ve seen. Take advantage of what you’ve paid for. He should respond quickly. If not quick enough, give them a call.

Yes…just different type of bushing. The Overland + kit has the flexible non-serviceable joints. Well, you don’t have to grease them. You can replace the cartridge if needed.

Got it. Just speaking from my jeeps experience, bringing the arms parallel to the ground would be my next step if the castor isn't enough.

I've read through the post where a fella (purchaser or Shop) made an honest mistake and accidentally installed the upper arms (???) on the wrong side. Can't remember exactly, but he was positive that it was installed correctly. I'm the worlds worst with names, but he fella from Clayton reviewed the information given and called it. He recommended several shops local to the purchaser to verify the installation, but as indicated above, it was an installation issue. So, when it comes to this manufacturer, I whole heartly recommend contacting them. From all of the posts I've seen them make, they know their product and Jeeps. By including them in my post above, I'd be surprised if it's not responded to in a day...day and a half unless he's out of town. Let's see.

Oh...and I'm totally not discounting drop brackets. Geometry is geomety. This being said, there are a bunch of folks just on this forum that have had great sucess with this kit. One thing the OP didn't comment on was if the kit was a 2.5 or 3.5, which we know are conservative figures.

Totally agree, other people may love it as is. I did them for 2 reasons. 1 geometry for highway feeling, 2 I don't feel bad about sacrificing them on rocks, protecting my stock mounts.

I pieced together my Clayton kit. Did you get adjustable track bars front and rear? I didn’t pay a shop to do my alignment but my steering was sensitive too at first. I forgot to recheck and center axles, went from AEV spacers to current pieced kit. Had to adjust track bars a bit. And my toe was dead even, now just under 1/8” toe in. And drives great!
My brother inlaw also has a gladiator on teraflex 1.5” spacers and 35s. He drove mine on 37s and he said it feels like driving a car compared to his.

I'm sure OP will comment at some point, but both Overland+ kits come with front and rear trackbars.

Something is off. Overland plus kit comes with everything but shocks. I installed it myself and had a local shop do the alignment. I can hit 85mph without noticing it. No aftermarket steering stablelizer either.

Thanks for the feedback. I did get adjustable tracbars and have the axle centered. I am not complaining by any means as the kit is great and the instructions are great. I did the install and am not an expert. My second lift install ever.

Just trying to tweak it to perfection as the issues were very slight. Overall, it rides much better than stock but i think i can get it a little better with proper adjustments.

Hey there! What you're experiencing is most likely just a caster issue. Although you are within Jeep's specs, we find that having caster somewhere between 5.5 and 6 degrees provides much more responsive steering and less wandering! I would experiment with the caster a little bit and then see if the issue goes away, which I'm betting it will!

That’s what i was figuring. Whats the easiest way to adjust the caster without having to unbolt everything?
