Lift it 3.5" preferably from Metalcloak

Get a lighter 37" tire

Regear to 5.13s

Enjoy a big Gladiator that still can get 18-19 mpg if you don't drive like a maniac

Just went to 37's with 2.5" MetalCloak Gamechanger, still gets around 17mpg on my daily commute. This picture was taken with the factory 33's on it still.

What do you think cost wise what I should be paying to do the 5.13s? Just a guess on cost.

I was quoted $3100 last month for a gear swap here in central Florida

I've got a 2020 Rubicon rolling on 38" tires, 17" rims with 4:88 gears. 3" Rock Krawler mid-arm lift with the 4 link in the rear ( 3.0" Adventure - X PRO "No-Limits" Mid-Arm System - Rock Krawler Suspension ). Combined with the 2.5 DSC Fox Shocks this thing rides better than stock. I put steer smarts HD yeti in the front and PSC hydraulic steering. The only thing it needs is a hemi or maybe the new twin turbo they are putting in the grand wagoneers.

I just got back from a trip to Gatlinburg, TN. From driveway to driveway I got 15.6mpg. That's idling at traffic lights, mountain roads, stops / starts / stuck in traffic and the whole nine.

If you put 37s with 4:88 gears you will fair a little better as I think with a 38" tire I need 5:13's.

Hopefully this will give you and some others some ideas. I can say the RK lift will absolutely flex offroad!

Can you post some pics when you get a chance? Thanks for the input.

4.5 evo here with king shock.
ran mile star Patagonia 40x13.50 for 70k miles. @18mpg on stock 4.10’s. Daily driver with lite wheeling. Ride better than stock.
Switched to Mickey Thompson mtz. 40x13.50. Ride much more harsh (worse than stock) and lost 4mpg. Now mostly running in 5th gear. Will either need to go back to the pat’s or change gearing asap. Mickeys way more aggressive, awesome off-road.

I think the type and brand of tire will also make a big difference in MPG. A heavy mud tire will eat up MPG.
I have read some people on here got the light rated AT tires and it didn't kill MPG. I have heavy mud tired, it killed my MPG.
Also are you keeping the stock rims? Heavy rims will hurt MPG. The rotating mass is something to be mindful of...

All right boys and girls, I just picked up my rubicon. I’m asking for help on lift kit size, brand, tire size. I will be driving it daily, and looking to do moderate off road. Asking for support on how much lift and what brand. Also am I better off running 35s or will 37s not kill my gas mileage? Thanks in advance
IMO you don't need half of what everyone has suggested. IDK why the first suggestion is maximum lift, maximum tire and regear. This is your daily driver, there is no need for all that. You can easily do a spacer lift and 35's to see how it feels before going all out. Regearing is thousands and thousands of dollars. Rubi can easily fit 35's stock with no lift. Since this is your daily, and only a 'mild offroad' vehicle, there is no need for a 3"+ lift and 37's

Just went to 37's with 2.5" MetalCloak Gamechanger, still gets around 17mpg on my daily commute. This picture was taken with the factory 33's on it still.

Case in point. This is on a 2" lift and stock tire size. Look at this picture. Are you HONESTLY going to do more hard core stuff than this on a regular basis? If the answer is yes, then sure go for the max. If the answer is no, then a spacer lift, or smaller end lift will do all you need and save you thousands of dollars. I am on a AEV 2.5" dualsport with stock 33's and it has done everything I have expected and more at a lot less cost.

Did your RK springs come with correction pads for the 3” rear coils? Mine didn’t and I’m trying to find if they are required or not or if I just didn’t get the pads.

I didn't do the install an offroad shop did so I don't know. All I know is it drives quiet, no rattles, and flexes nicely.

1-2" lift and narrow 35" all terrains if you want to stay more budget/street oriented

2-2.5" lift with adjustable track bars and at least adjustable front lower control arms, 37's and regear if budget is less of a concern and you trade off some everyday comforts for more offroad capability.

These trucks have a LOOOOONG wheelbase for off-roading, this means anything that helps prevent getting high centered is a huge benefit off-road.
