2022 Rumors?

That bodes well for finally getting the MY22 details next Wednesday. Late production start though... If the last MY21 orders were due yesterday, and MY22 production doesn't start until late November... 5 months with no new orders able to be delivered? What are they building during all that time? People are getting their custom orders in under 3 weeks, and retooling a line doesn't take but a few weeks. Surely they're not building a bunch of MY21s for dealer inventory to just sit on lots once people know what's coming; that's the whole reason they keep the next model year's improvements a secret until the last possible moment.

EDIT: I initially read the end of MY21 orders date as July, but the interim post points out that it was April. That's clearly not correct. Either there was a typo, or something's up with that data.

Have a good friend that works the lines, new model year generally would’ve started but with their suppliers not keeping up they pushed the date to August 1st

He’s pretty accurate, was telling me about the V8 JL long before it was ever announced. It was still being tested to see if they could pass safety

If you go to Jeep.com it's one of the splash images that rotates across the page. Some kind of announcement at the Chicago Auto Show tomorrow, hopefully about the JL/JT.

I just ordered a 2021 in sting gray eve though I prefer Gobi or Gator. My thinking is that prices are likely to rise in 2022 and that those colors won’t make a comeback at least right away. If they do, I’m prepared to forgo my $1k deposit and order one! What a terrible plan!

Didn’t talk to much about that, was just shooting the breeze about my JT being built. Said he was over on the JL line that day and just said 22 customer orders don’t start till aug 1 but they were running a few 22 through the body shop probably for new colours

A reveal on a vehicle refresh that's supposed to start production in a month or so? With the 4xe drivetrain = ok, but I'm hoping for more than that. ?

06 TJ/LJ could be ordered in Midnight Blue Pearl, color code B8. Been on the lookout for one for many years.
