Have a good friend that works the lines, new model year generally would’ve started but with their suppliers not keeping up they pushed the date to August 1stThat bodes well for finally getting the MY22 details next Wednesday. Late production start though... If the last MY21 orders were due yesterday, and MY22 production doesn't start until late November... 5 months with no new orders able to be delivered? What are they building during all that time? People are getting their custom orders in under 3 weeks, and retooling a line doesn't take but a few weeks. Surely they're not building a bunch of MY21s for dealer inventory to just sit on lots once people know what's coming; that's the whole reason they keep the next model year's improvements a secret until the last possible moment.
EDIT: I initially read the end of MY21 orders date as July, but the interim post points out that it was April. That's clearly not correct. Either there was a typo, or something's up with that data.
