Yeah that's interesting! I can't even find the wheel you got on the 2021 online configurator and have not seen it on the hundreds of new JTs I've looked at online.

All the Sport S trucks get either silver or black 5 spoke aluminum wheels to my knowledge.

You really scored there, the aluminum 17 inch 5 spoke wheels look ghastly IMO.

Not sure if there the same as the new 22s, but I ordered a 21 Sport S that wasn’t built until late September and the black aluminum rims that came standard aren’t the old traditional 5 spoke, they’re actually pretty nice.
I put a pic of my rims below.

I just took delivery of my sport s and it came with these same wheels. I like them better than what I thought I was gonna get.

I hope these are the wheels for 2022. I’ve got my 2022 order in and got my VIN but can't see the window sticker yet. Hoping that gives me more details on the wheels.

These wheels are purchase code WFP vs the “normal” Sport S wheels that use WF6

Is there a way to tell from the window sticker if that is the rim you get?

Guess you'll find out soon based on your signature. Mine shows WFP on the Confliguration Preview document I got from my dealership. That was the only wheel type they could select when they ordered it back in late July. It also was $295 for the wheels compared to $195 for WF6.

Based on the 2022 order guide page 3, there are 3 "upgraded" wheel codes for Sport:

• WFS (new) for the Sport S
• WFW for the Willys Sport, Willys, and Texas Trail
• WFP (old California Edition) for the Altitude

Thanks for alerting me to the configuration preview. That does show WFP along with $295 on the window sticker. So I assume I am getting the new rims?

Hopefully that makes them easier to sell as I have already bought and painted a set of rubi take offs, haha

That's right, no official launch yet. Which means tricks may still exist up sleeves. The order guide placated us, but can be updated at any point. If they do some real changes I am in. XAK! XAK!

V8 will happen for this generation of JT, but it may be a long wait. I'm not holding my breath for that one.
