Interesting.. my understanding is that once they are out of allocations, they are able to continue receiving vehicles as long as they are ordered as a "Sold Vehicle," which shows up on the build sheet.I’m sure that’s part of it too. I know I talked to my dealer about allocation and he said my first order that was just delivered took up there last allocation for October and my now in production order is one of there first allocations for November now. It’s probably a mix of both. If they are only allocated so many per month and your order didn't Make there initial 2023 allocation then the next month your are top of there list but now have restrained parts and there allocation gets filled before availability comes back you get bumped again. being at a high volume dealer can hurt you there then bc they have plenty of orders to fill there allocation quickly. It’s a constantly moving chess game unfortunately. I waited a year and a half for our Bronco and still don’t fully understand the lottery some get of being built before others. It sucks, I know.
I’m not sure on that. Allocation normally means total vehicles and by the way my salesman answered me I took it to mean that. I know Ford is that way too but it is possible that Jeep is a little different on there allocation allowance.Interesting.. my understanding is that once they are out of allocations, they are able to continue receiving vehicles as long as they are ordered as a "Sold Vehicle," which shows up on the build sheet.
Be safe....sport m/t. order confirmed 8-25, D-1 9-15, E 10-18, kzm 10-22. Shipping to S.W.Montana. My area is blanketed in a winter storm, First drive will most likely be with blowing snow on ice in below freezing temps. Dealership is 100+ miles away. August 25 seems like a long time ago.
I get that for sure... I was going to order from nampa last Nov for my 22 JTRD, but January drive to and from Idaho didn't sit well... Vegas worked for me.... (although I would recommend Peterson in Nampa over Vegas dealers)Thanks teqsand. It's all good, slow and steady wins this race. The truck hasn't arrived yet, and the weather may be completely different by "show time." This buy has been fun and I haven't even stalled it in the dealership parking lot yet.
So you'll be an actual Jeeper CreeperGupton had me scheduled for a Nov 11 checkout but due to the hurricane coming Nov 10th im flying out early to creep around the lot incase they can fit me in..
