I wonder if the steering sector shaft brace and frame side track bar bracket are needed on the 2023 for the wander less steering? Im trying to order some parts before my Rubicon order shows up.

They're not needed on my 21 Mojave with 2" AEV as far as highway driving goes.
They still offer advantages off road.
Metalcloak would be what I would use if any.

Heads up: I had to take off my Metalcloak sector shaft brace as we could not get it to stop binding up and making a horrid creaking sound. Reached out to Metalcloak for a solution, and as far as i know havent heard anything back.

That's good to know. Do you think it was in the bronze bushing or elsewhere?

Maybe it was the bushing, that would make the most sense. I had my local outfitter put that one in and take it off. He mentioned when removing it seeing small amounts of metal shavings. The bushing being the softest metal right there, i'm guessing that is where the issue was. We were two days away from leaving on a 5500 mile roadtrip, so I didn't have the time to go in and look over it with them to troubleshoot it.

I would honestly wait before dropping the cash on a sector shaft brace. I am super picky about my steering as well, and I honestly could not tell a difference between having it on or off. Try it without it, and itll be super easy to add later if you feel there's the need.
