@AllMoparParts.com - Is this something you could check, now that these X's are hitting dealership floors?? And can you also confirm if the skid-plate on the Mojave X is black (no longer silver)?I have both front and rear Rubicon steel bumpers on my Mojave 21, including bed box corner rail protection. It’s the same bolts and holes as for the original Mojave plastic bumpers. You just have to also change the front skid plate for the Rubicon plate or grind half an inch each side of the Mojave skid plate.
Now the question is: Does the Mojave X have a different shock setting to compensate the steel bumper weight?

I've never even thought that the springs on Rubis with plastic bumpers were different on those with Steel. WOuld be interesting to see if they use Rubi springs vs. the typical Mojave springs.
Thanks in advance!
Ah... got it.Hi Joe,
I would need a vin please. I work remotely away for the dealerships so do not have access to inventory. I looked online briefly but could not find any listed for sale just yet.
I also did check our 24 parts data and I do not see any new skid plates listed. To confirm this will be exactly like the Silver mojove plate but in Black?

You will find below 2 VINs if this can be useful. I got a quick look at both building sheets, but I have no clue about spring/suspension setup or front plate difference:Hi Joe,

Basically, only difference is that Jeep added 35s to the Xs and then made a lot of previously available options exclusive to the X.compared to a 23
The 24 Mojave comes standard with
Tow package
Aux switches
Led’s
Adaptive cruise and forward collision
in addition to above, X package includes
Cold weather group
Leather seats
Trail cam
Full time transfer case
Front and rear steel bumper
Bluetooth speaker
Body color flairs
Body color top
Parksense and blind spot
Yes, it’s the same concept as the original 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition with all the available options for the Rubicon in 2019, before the Mojave was launched. Now it’s both the Rubicon and the Mojave in 2024.Basically, only difference is that Jeep added 35s to the Xs and then made a lot of previously available options exclusive to the X.
EDIT: also now putting steel bumpers on X Mojaves when this was completely unavailable in 2023 Mojaves and prior.

They might as well get a early start and put up the 2025 Builder instead.I can’t believe that it is now Feb 2024 and we still cannot use Jeep.com to configure a Gladiator!!
The Gladiator X's don't have 35s. The Wrangler Rubicon X does. Thanks Jeep.Basically, only difference is that Jeep added 35s to the Xs and then made a lot of previously available options exclusive to the X.

I agree it is ugly but I always say that about somthin" New .That giant screen is ugly as Heck
If I was to speculate on why Jeep is not putting factory 35's and upping the gears to 4.56 like they do on the Wranglers, is that they would have to baseline the payload and tow ratings again and it probably would not be a good number in marketing terms. The Gladiator X's don't have 35s. The Wrangler Rubicon X does. Thanks Jeep.
Good assumption as the Gladiator prides itself on tow ratings. Going to 35" tires will adjust that magical tow rating down.If I was to speculate on why Jeep is not putting factory 35's and upping the gears to 4.56 like they do on the Wranglers, is that they would have to baseline the payload and tow ratings again and it probably would not be a good number in marketing terms.
... the tow ratings are across the board though... in the 4s for some trims and then mid 7s on Max Tow....Good assumption as the Gladiator prides itself on tow ratings. Going to 35" tires will adjust that magical tow rating down.
