Never again ford. Fooled me once on a 2014, Sister had a 2019, trans gave up twice in first 36k. Ford just cant build a truck it seems

I would venture it is probably a mid to low single digit percentage of new vehicles made that are faulty to the point of leaving people stranded or unfixable drivability issues.

Internet skews perceptions because people are more inclined to join and get on a forum board to bitch that ones who have little to nothing wrong.

The Ranger Raptr suspension set up is interesting, almost 12in of front wheel travel, but less than 10 in the rear and typically it is easier to get more travel out of the rear than the front. The bronco Raptor has 13/14in front/rear travel, so I'm wondering what led for to the watts set up in the rear and a much more limited rear travel.

The Ranger Raptor is an impressive offer - nice to have choices...Do they offer a sun roof yet on the Rangers? When I went shopping before I fell for my Mojave I couldn't order one with it...No sun roof or no light color interior on an off-road/beach/desert vehicle is a show stopper for me no matter how many ponies they stuff in the engine.

I'm doubtful of that, the watts link only lets you have so much travel, I'm surprised they didn't leverage a similar set up as F150 Raptor (track bar vs watts link). My current understanding is that the Ranger Raptor is rated for just above 5,000 lbs of towing. Bronco Raptor is 4,500. It seems a bit much to lose over 4in of travel to only gain 500 lbs of additional tow capacity.

Lotta thirst in this thread lol. I think its pretty evident that Jeep needs a better engine choice in the Glad. And not just a EV / hybrid. A pure high powered gasser.

I like it a lot but I'm surprised that the rear seat passengers will still be sweating their nuts off in the summer due to lack of rear passenger AC vents. Its 2023 and $50k+ vehicles lack basic AC features??

So, I was poking around on youtube, watching a few 2024 Ranger Raptor videos. Go to the 6:50 mark on the following video, and it shows rear passenger vents. I understand that this isn't a NA spec vehicle, but why wouldn't we get them? Maybe because the RR in the video is a diesel?

@jac04 Absolutely no idea why any vehicle would lack ac vents tbh, but it looks like the Bronco, Ranger, and new Tacoma all lack center console vents in the rear.

I understand on a 'base model' Ranger, but if I'm willing to spend, let's say, $65k on a Ranger Raptor, then I'm willing to spend $66k. The money just isn't an issue at that point.

I agree, Ford is just the king of these kinds of screw the consumer to save a buck cuts. All the fords I've owned always have little stuff that you know they only did to save a few pennies.

Chevy is easily the king at not giving you the right options. Can you get anymore than 5 colors now for a Colorado? That was the case not too long ago. How many Chevys have you been in with leather and no heated seats? I see it all the time.
