@mendiola21 reported similar slowness through Military AutoSource. I'm also surprised that the MAS pricing isn't more aggressive - could almost be worth waiting until you're back in the states to order from a 'forum dealer' like Gupton...

We just got here (well, 10 months ago) and will likely get a follow up European assignment from here (hoping for Germany) so that’d be a while. Plus, there’s no guarantee that Tuscadero will stick around for any given amount of time or come back. This thing is my wife’s dream Jeep (pink, and a Gladiator) so I couldn’t make her wait on that.

Yes, the 2023s and 2024s are ridiculously marked down everywhere (maybe a slight exaggeration) stateside, over here we’re pretty tied to whatever the factory standard incentives are, especially when ordering.

When I do eventually come back though, I’m probably gonna go through one of those forum member type dealers with the good deals and just road trip it back to wherever I end up for my last assignment.

Picked up my 2024 Rubicon X last Tuesday. I ordered April 6, was built and ready for shipping early in May, and was delivered on May 14. Expecting 2-3 months so I was very pleasantly surprised in the turnaround. Unfortunately, I had some family engagements and couldn't go and pick it up for a couple of weeks (gasp). It's my first Jeep and I'm loving it more and more with each drive.

Shout out to Brian at Koons in Tysons Corner for a great experience from first email contact to delivery (and he even helped me out after the fact with the slush mat drains). I found their deal on the forums here and got me hooked up with the 8.7% under invoice deal exactly as advertised - no gimmicks with destination, other add ons, etc. The price paid was exactly the price from the initial order sheet (well, better since there were factory incentives now that didn't exist then.. got those too). Both he and Craig were awesome to deal with and I'd recommend them highly. Aside from the DC traffic (no joke) it was the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made - I drove about 4 1/2 hours to get there from Raleigh and I'd do it again.

Now onto the endless research about bed covers/drawers/racks/etc

July 16, 2024: Arrived at dealership, but my schedule doesn't allow me to go until tomorrow. Jeep's website still shows Ship Date as TBD and expected delivery date 7/30/24.
July 17, 2024: Picked it up from dealership!

I have a VIN now but for whatever reason my VON doesn't work on any of Jeeps stuff so pretty sure I have the wrong number BUT I reached out to Jeep Cares and they got back with me a few days later about it's status. Currently, we're scheduled to start production 01 July and ship sometime in August...we'll see if that ends up being earlier or not.

Got email confirmation today that our JT Willys is officially in production! If it started today, then I’m saying it has the same bday as me lol if it technically started yesterday…ah, well, then close enough.

Surprised that there's only been one Anvil available on dealer lots so far. Would think that it would be a popular color for dealerships to order.

Forgot to update. Took about a month from shipped to delivered, but after delivery ran into PCM and O2 sensor issues that took a couple weeks to get resolved.

@MateoX7 based on your timeline, our Tuscadero is probably on it's way to us since it went into build status on July 1st. It'll be coming by boat though, so it'll take a while lmfao

Had to reach out to the dealer and ask for a current status after not hearing from them for almost a month… he said “it’s built, just waiting shipping out of factory.”

It’ll take a while to get over here, but at least it’s built

Got this on the 7th of this month from FCA rep, not the dealer of course

"Good News! At this present time, your vehicle is being sequenced for shipping and is on its way to you!"

So it's likely at least on a boat by now!
