Picked up a full suspension minty take off set from a 23 Gladiator Diesel Rubicon. Main goal was to get the diesel Rubicon springs but it was a all or nothing for $100 so I am not complaining. Looking to mate them with a set of Bilstein 5100's when installed, but may give the Rubicon Red shocks a try out first and go from there.

This will probably be a lame build journal for most but thought I would start one nonetheless.

Picked up this 2025 Base Sport in Anvil last Friday 12/20. This will be my 4th Gladiator with two prior Rubicons and a Willys. Reasons for picking up the this base is an attempt to getting back to a simple daily driver after building my Rubicons to something that while looked great and performed great on the trail, sucked as daily commute drivers.

Picked this up almost by happenstance for dirt cheap with current rebates and pretty good dealer discount. Paid $36K with only options being the Hardtop, Bedliner and Slush Mats. Coupled with Automatic now standard across the board for all 2025's, the Base Sport now has power windows and locks standard with no more manual crank windows or locks.

Only immediate plans is to get a class III hitch and some take off rock rails. I do not mind the steelie wheels but eventually will get some 33's for tires but not against getting some alloy take off wheels/tires if the price is right.

Might look at discount tire they add some vision wheels 17x8.5 for like $69.00

Received and installed a set of TruShield floor mats ordered through Extreme Terrain. Vehicle came with the MOPAR Slush Mats but I wanted something that went up the transmission tunnel side and under the pedals a bit further. These fit the bill and seem well made.

We are too!
What a great price on a new JT!
Cool that even the base models come with power windows and door locks now.
Sounds like you're a bit like me and look for deals on mods for the JT. Really good price on that full Rubicon suspension too. If it was me, I'd hold out for set of 35" tires. ... Then you'd be all set... for a while anyway.

Please don’t take this as a criticism, I promise it’s not meant to be…why?

Why? Because I wanted to. I know, it sounds like a shit answer but I understand the legalities or lack of it and my reasons are my own that I am not expecting anybody to emulate.

I think it's a good idea. A blinking brake light will get better attention.

With the plethora of distracted drivers on the road today I think a strobe would alert someone quicker than a steady light. I think it's a good idea. I live in Florida, 75% of drivers are distracted and the other 25% are old and shouldn't be on the road.

Had a brake module on my motorcycle. For those that "don't get it" a blinking light will grab a drivers attention more than a solid light. Did it work? Never had an incident and it made me feel better/safer and that's all that mattered!
