As chipped up as my hinges are, I wish the entire hinge assembly was hidden like all doors.

Or better yet, push the stupid thing into the door and NEVER hook it back up after the first time the doors are off. Just making sure the check strap is attached and away you go.

This is what I did when I put my half doors on. Half doors don't have the detent hook up as well.

There's several posts and threads where people have modified the existing door check to take removable pins. For hinges - just take the piece out of the bottom and never put them back.
The quick release bit is zip, nothing, no real improvement- Jeep ignores the REAL hassle with door removal - the wiring connector. It's like some Rube Goldberg thing where you need a secret code and keys and latches and such - for a darned connector with a few wires. What's the point of the lever, anyway? Other connectors don't have that. Other connectors like the tail light connectors you press a tab and pull it apart.
These could be half that size and have a simple tab to push to take them apart - and pins that are larger diameter - and it would make the connector smaller.

The hinges - no issues, remove the nuts off the bottom and leave them off. Now you have easy-off hinges.

The door check - modify it to take a removable pin - problem solved. No need to take out bolts.

The wiring - man, Jeep - lose that crazy connector that is more complicated than necessary.
