There is absolutely nothing wrong with building your Jeep in a Military theme if you want to. It’s only stolen valor if you start making claims of service that are absolutely untrue. I served in the Marine Corps,in one form or another, (active, contractor, DOD) for just shy of 20 years. I think military themed Jeeps look pretty darned good. I don’t give a rats left arse cheek if the people who drive them served or not. Most of us actually appreciate the support from our fellow Americans, even if we don’t say it that often.

Start making claims of suckin mud in ‘Nam and then there might be some problems.

My sarge green gladiator has been the easiest to scratch jeep we've ever had. It also proudly shows off those scratches because of the high contrast between the dark top coat and grey primer underneath. 😣

As a non-veteran I agree completely. I love the looks but both out of respect for those who served and not wanting to cross paths with a grizzled vet with a chip on his shoulder who thinks I'm posing, I'd pass.

That interior is sharp.
The vast majority of real vets wouldn't care as long as you aren't trying to pass yourself off as a Veteran. Just say something like "I like Army jeeps but I never served" and you're good.

Of course, if you say this to a Marine stand by for a maelstrom of knife hands and corrective counseling which may or may not include a frog voice, showers of spittle, and a sand pit. No worries, it builds character. :like:

Retired. Beach bum.
Absolutely incredible interior blend of traditional colors and materials. Laid out with tasteful and simple design. But absolutely the last exterior color any actual military vehicle would want is white! Only OD Green, or a Desert Tan would be appropriate, in any conditions other than white Arctic surroundings.
