22s on 37s on the beach?

Minty sorry we missed each other but I did appreciate the offer for the pass. We had other family here as well it wouldn’t be fair for us to just ditch ‘em . But I did drive on there a few more times and it was awesome Can’t wait to come back, good thing we’re from VB only a couple hours away. Here a little video

Yeah got home around 11am or so today. Pressure washed the gladiator after unloading some stuff. Really wanted to hit the undercarriage as soon as possible. Have yet to vacuum out the inside it got too hot outside, but damn sand is all over the place all worth it!

Yeah this is the coolest week in OBX we've ever had. Got home and it was 87*

There’s driving in the sand and then there’s driving in sand. If that is typical of the sand at that beach that’s hard packed and a Prius could likely drive on it.

I thought you were talking about typical soft loose potentially deep sand which is a whole different animal and you definitely want to air down and preferably not have 20”+ wheels

At OBX. The sand is hard packed at the water's edge. Get close to the dunes, it's really soft.

Or like it was on either Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon.......the tide was right up to the dunes and turned everything in to a sloppy sand soup. 5 of the 7 miles I drove up the beach were under water or wet muck. It was a blast.........my wife was not so amped about it lol

Couple of years back. We had to leave when there was a hurricane off the coast during high tide. Water was at the dunes. Driving through 2+ ft of water was a bit scary.
