Considering most of the 20k has been hiway miles, I expect at least 15 more....and these are MT, AT are less expensive and wear better on pavement

Honestly, prolly 36.5
36.5 won’t get me 2 years lol. They do have an AT tire as well that’s a Duratrac copy, same thing 200 bucks a tire. ?

I am on my second set of Yoko Geo X-AT 37x13.50/17s. I was on my last set for 60,000 miles and I'm at 30,000 miles on this set. But, I do need a new set. Daily driving I could do 60,000 again all day. But, A lot of the places that I have been rockcrawling have sharp rocks and they've gotten chewed up pretty bad. Plus all of the towing and traveling that I do.

What does that mean?
Doh ?
Just went back and reread the post, I was thinking you said 36.5 as in miles not as in tire size. No 37s actually fit like 37s, just as long as they’re not as small as BFGs I’m good.

That’s kind of what I’m afraid of is tearing them up on the rocks. I put roughly 22k miles on highways per year and the other 2k is trail stuff. At this point it might be cheaper to move closer to work ?

I put 19k miles a year just going back and forth to work ?‍♂

Posted on the no bed forums too, but I’ll ask around here.

Like the title says, I’m looking for new 37s that will last. I drive 24k miles a year and don’t want to replace them every 16 months. I also wheel my rig and I like to play on the rocks. Looking for owners who have driven over 40k miles on their tires. Pictures of said tires at said mileage would be great too ??

Also, not looking for KO2s, I don’t have great experience with them in the past, and I’m looking for a 37” tire. KO2s are a little too small for my likings. There’s tons of sites out there that say brand X tires last the longest, but I’m looking for real world results. I’m not opposed to All Terrains as I would assume they last longer than MTs anyways, but they’ve got to hold up when rock crawling.
I have had numerous sets of Milestar Patagonia MT’s in 35” and 37”. I got 60k from one set of 35”s. The 37”s I now run on my JT are wearing well but they are much noiseyer than the 35”s were. Noot sure why. Currently running the 02 version. The tires are rugged as heck and I have never had a traction problem with them but I do not rock crawl, just highway and overland. Two of the present set have some runout which I have not had from Milestar before. Good tires. Good luck to you. .

My wife has the Patagonia MT, the original version. She’s had em for 4 years now but only drives 5-6k per year so they’re a little more than halfway through. She’s done everything I’ve been able to do with her JLU on 35s. I’ve never heard bad things about them other than the tread wear not being as good. The MT2 is supposed to fix that I believe.

But, 60,000 miles is good. And the trails that I've been on are rougher than a lot of trails. Normal trails and offroad parks aren't like that. In one spot, I went up with a couple other jeeps. It was so bad that I could see chunks flying off of their tires. So on most trails, it wouldn't be that bad and you can get a lot of miles out of them

And besides, it doesn't matter what tires you get. If you offroad/rockcrawl pretty often, you're not going to avoid your tires getting chewed up.

I got lucky that because I was always military, I lived close to post. And then when I got a civilian job, I was only 10 minutes away.

My current set are the MT2’s. They look same as the original so jury is out on what my wear mileage will be. Just dont understand why all the 35’s I had were not noisy but this set of 37’s are. If they wear well then I can live with the added sound from them I guess. Had lots of different tires on Jeeps but the MT’s were the most rugged. Never even had a flat with any of them.

I wonder if the extra air/space inside the tire is creating a different resonance? There’s a larger cavity between the tire and the rim and it might cause a different frequency or at least a louder one. I know it’s science, and we are simple Jeep people, but maybe…

Makes about as much sense as anything today so I'm going with it. The 37"'s rotate slower than the 35"'s at the same speed so seems like the tire rotating the fastest, all other things being equal, should make more noise. Oh well, they work well and less expensive than many others so I'm using them.

no where near 40k but i love my Baja Boss ATs. i only run em for offroad trips, 2-3 days at a time tho. they got mad deep tread and spaced super wide. many mistake it for a MT in person. But its a super quiet AT with 50k mile warranty and a triple snowpeak rating. not a cheap tire tho but worth the money imo. I did run a Kenda Klever RT on my Tundra 35x12.5 for 40k and it held up nicely. Definitely on heavier end of the spectrum of tires for sure. they weighed almost 12lbs more than my 37s do. bulletproof tire and decent price tho.

I replaced my grabber ATX at about 50k miles but probably could have gotten closer to 60k or more.
