23 Mojave or rubicon

The skid plate on a Mojave is a little different than the other models. The remote reservoirs for the front shocks sit behind it. The skidplate attaches to the bumper and to the 'horns' on the front frame.

The skids are not directly interchangable but you can get them to fit with some trimming of either the bumper or the skid. I saw a guy on here that even moved his skid mount down and was able to get it to fit only using the lower mounting bolt

So the rubicon bumper does bolt on the sameway and the mojave bumper?

That is one sweet Mojave. Any issues with the top fully off and the sunrider still on? I've been wanting to do this, but not sure if the wind will impact anything. Too bad the sunrider doesn't have a quick disconnect.

Now in all seriousness, No one wants to admit the JT they bought is the wrong thing. One will always defend their choice. Valid points have been brought up on all models.

The OP needs to make his decision based on their experiences with the test drive whether it is a Sport, Sport S, Overland, Rubicon, Mojave, whatever. I get asking others for their experiences and that is a good thing to get real world experience. Ultimately, the OP and his wife need to make the decision and live with it.

I pick up the Mojave this Saturday as that’s the quickest I can get back to the dealer. It ultimately came down to the looks really, she preferred the Mojave hood and the lettering.
As mentioned previously, the 1.9% didn’t apply to the Mojave. Which ultimately was fine because I was able to just pay for it. I felt like I received a fair deal, just over 11k off list with rebates and loyalty bucks with no destination fees or market up charges

No. None at all. It runs 70 like that with zero issues.

Having the freedom panels quickly be removed is nice when just running with them.
