Hey guys, looking for advice and info. My 23 mojave has started the dreaded tick, very light mind you and nowhere near as bad as my wifes 22 wrangler that went in for cam, lifters and rockers. The difference is mine twice now has thrown cel in higher rpm when passing. I havent had time to pull the codes yet but when it happens you definately feel the shudder/misfire. Im out of warranty period and have no issue with the diy work. Wheres the best place to order the new parts from? Will just the rockers/lifters cause the misfire im feeling?

It could be rockers and lifters, but the updated design of the pug has been having cam quality issues more than just rocker and lifter so you may want to have cams for bank 2 ready.

Id probably try the spark plugs first and maybe it's just a bad plug?

Rock auto is probably the best bet, melling makes the best rockers (and I believe makes them for OEM as well). I'll be doing rockers and lifters in my 2012 jku soon.

The TSB has part numbers for cam kits that are supposed to contain all necessary parts. I haven't had to do it so I can't verify if this is true. I saw some shiny glitter in my oil filter last time so I have the TSB on standby...

Funny how the TSB says the failure range is 10,000 to 60,000 miles. Wonder why the failure range ends at 60,000 miles!!!! ;)
