I have a little over 42k miles on my BFG 35x12.5 E-Rated and am at a little less than 50%. They have been great! Except on this trip I blew a sidewall out on a sharp rock!! I put these 35's on right from the start on my JTRD.

Like to hear that, the 42K miles. What PSI are you running when you are doing regular driving?

I am planning on going with 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs. Specs have them weighing in at 62lbs. Seems a little lighter than the stock 33' Falkens on my Mojave . USAA discount of 25% makes it a great deal (for those who can get it) plus I like the aggressive look along with being an A/T tire. Can basically get 5 tires installed out the door for just under $1600 all in with rebate.

Got 48k on the Falkens. Starting to wear down but still got some life on them.
I'm looking at the duratracs, also with the USAA discount. I just put duratracs on my wife's JL and they are quiet -- i mean, no noise whatsoever.

Are you going to use the OEM wheels at 17x7.5? I see on this forum that hundreds have done it. I'm just concerned finding someone by me who will mount them fore on my Mojave wheels as the specs recommend using at least an 8.5 inch rim?

My plan is to get new wheels, probably the quadratec replicas because they look nice, inexpensive, nice offset, and are wide enough for 12.5s. I'm not a tire expert and I've seen many mount 12.5s on oem wheels but I don't like the ballooned out look and would not want to risk abnormal tire wear when spending that much money.

I was thinking about changing my wheels, but went with the Nitto Ridge Grappler 35 11.5 tires on the factory wheels just to keep the pooch down. I also added a 2" lift on my Willys just to level the rake out. I love the way it looks now and it is much more quite.

Kind of hard to see in the bright sunlight but they fill up the fenders quite nicely.

That is a nice look. I've been on the fence with getting silver or gunmetal wheels because the black does just get lost.

With my JT being all white I like the black wheels. If it was silver like yours I'd probably paint them to match. The small lift and 35's feel perfect for what I needed. I'll put a couple of hundred miles on it tomorrow and get them more broken in. I will say these tires ride way better than the mud type that came on it and are really quite so far.

35's on my JTR since week 1, no issues at all with 4.10's and freeway / towing.

Any issues with getting in to 8th gear? That has been my only hesitation with my Mojave and going with 35's

No regear on mine and running 37 12.5 17 Yokohama Geolanders X-AT

and I still see 8th and over 17 mpg in mine around 18 to 18.5 on longer trips. About 3-1/4 inches of lift with the Readylift SST 2.5 lift kit and Rubicon takeoffs installed. I went 315 70 17 KO2 second day of owner ship And 15,000 miles in 37's went on. I should of done it from the beginning. This is mine with the Kanati trail hog AT-4 37 12.5 17 on it. I would of went back with those tires but got the Geolanders for $1087 shipped to the house from Walmart back I'm February .Couldn't pass that deal up.

What bumper is that? I want one that protect my Punkin Orange fenders. It kinda looks like a Rampage.
