28" tires is gonna disappoint people who liked the concept lol
That's a big drop from 31"
I guess it won't need as much lift? or, will look like something was forgotten?

I don't have any real details at the moment other than it's moving ahead.

I'm guessing it will need no lift. And it can use parts that exist currently.

Like the Everest package or Wilderness packages.

It's aggressive tires and some bold trim, and cashes in with the buying a life image crowd.

Nothing really of note.

Hurricane production remains double Hemi production, so what kind of success the relaunch is, is debatable.

Maybe the newer buyers are finding out that "hemi" is only a name these days, nothing that special

Impressive motors. Id like to see a teardown of one. Ive been watching alot teardown videos lately. I spent about an hour watching the shit show that is the Ford 2.7 oil pump belt replacement. That motor will punish those who do not keep up on service.

That's the point. Unless you are a "car guy" (or "car person" to be PC), I think many if not most people have no clue on what makes a hemi a hemi. People buy an Eco this or Eco that or a Hemi or some other name pasted on the engine and that is that. To most, it is a brand identifier.

We should not be surprised.

The vocal minority who would "totally buy today if they put a Hemi back in" isn't all the internet makes them out to be.

Most of the Hemi volume is for the Durango lol.

People shop numbers, lowest payment, most power, most towing.

I had an 03 Rubicon when they first came out, nothing in that Jeep would fly today, not the engine, trans, clutch, interior, top, only 2 doors...

What happened though?

People said, if this Rubicon is the best one, why doesn't it have ______________ And now we're adaptive cruise, heated bidet seats, and 60k MSRP's.

Where do I see the most Raptors and TRX's? Silver Lake Sand Dunes? Drummond Island? Windrock? The Badlands? Nope... The high income zip codes picking up a bush from home Depot, or out in my office parking lot.

People are still walking into Ram dealers, going, that one has more power? Give me that one. And not one person who's driven a Hurricane truck expresses an interest in going back.

Putting the Hemi back in was cheap publicity, but it's only proving what decades of data have long shown.

My desire for the 5.7 is about hp/tq and simplicity. I dont care about any legacy of engine design or the name. The idea alone is as stupid as the originators of such a statement.

The 3.0 is growing on me. It has a closed deck design which is good imo. There's a good interview with the designer that talks about alot of hot topics regarding oil viscosity and design elements for reliability. Iam not sure if its been posted but here it is:

I'm looking forward to that affordable $89K RAM 1500 Street Truck. NOT!
RAM way to go reading that market considering the base 2026 RHO goes for $75K.

It's pretty smart though.

Didn't require them to buy a single tool or complete a single test. Does give all the key board warriors who will never even sit in one something to brag about to Ford boys talking about Roush's they'll also never even sit in.

I would still be interested buying a 392 v8 Gladiator if they ever decide to offer one.
‘I just like a big v8 gas over any gas v6 , i6 or any electric, hybrid or any of that.
