It's called Rock-trak on Rubicons.
Yes, but that's not the whole story -
On the Rubicon, the Selec-Trac is called Rock-Trac FULL TIME
There's still the Rock-Trac part time.
So both are called Rock-Trac in the Rubicon.

If you say hey, I want a Rubicon with Rock-Trac, you may get the part time t-case.

Make sure it says FULL TIME or you'll be disappointed -

- some say "PART TIME" and it's still Rock-Trac.

Ok, still not clear. Is that an option? My 2018 JLUR has no such thing. Just placed an order for 2023 JT Rubicon 3.6, am I gonna get it?

Yes, but my point was you can't just say it's "Rock-Trac", if it doesn't say Rock-Trac Full Time, then it's not full time even if it says Rock-Trac.

Not unless you specifically said you wanted it.
It's not standard - yes, it is an option.
In other words - you can buy a new 2023 Rubicon with PART TIME, or with full time.
BOTH are Rock-Trac because that's just the generic name for ANY Rubicon transfer case.
Unless you ordered Rock-Trac Full time, you may get Rock-Trac Part Time.
Did you specifically ask to order that option because it is an option - I just went through that with buying a Wrangler Rubicon for my wife - most were Rock-Trac PART TIME. I had to search to find one that was Rock-Trac Full Time.
The nice thing is that the Wrangler 4xe only comes with the full time transfer case!
Gladiator Rubicon can be bought either way. You'd better ask.

So yes, it's available, but will you get it? It's an option, so maybe not unless you asked for it.

This is the option I see on the Rubicon build process.

4:1 ROCK-TRAC® HD FULL TIME 4WD SYSTEM

Is that same as 4HI Auto?

Yes.
And you'll love it.
I do - have it in my 2022 Gladiator Overland (it's one reason I traded my 2020 for the 22) and in the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe - but like I said, you can't buy a 4xe without it.
And interestingly - the 4xe torque control system manages in such a way that you have more torque, more power, in 4HI Auto. A guy that races on laid out the details on that, and exactly how that transfer case works. It's not how most people think it would work.

Anyway, love ours. In the winter I put it in 4HI Auto and leave it there until the weather clears.

Good choice. These things are great.

I LOVED having that transfer case system in my '96 and '02 Grand Cherokees.

Nasty-ish weather, just put it into 4H FT and go. No worries going from dry or wet road to slippery/snow covered and back again.

I wish it was initially offered in the Gladiator when they came out with them back in '19 because then I would have definitely gotten it.

I really love my Gladiator as/is (6/19 build date) because I do. Plus, I haven't had the issues a lot of other owners have been having with electrical (ESS/batteries), mechanical (cylinder misfire needing re-power, steering box issues, etc.), or any of the other maladies that seem to come from the COVID years builds (mid-late 2020 through late 2021) due to lack of quality control personnel to look at not only the bits-n-pieces that went into them but the actual builds themselves.

Same here - had the options that came later been around in October 2019 when I ordered my first one, it would have had this transfer case and a couple of other things.
