It looks like the option is available for Overland now. I did not check other trims.
Have some questions,: how it works and is it worth having.
1. If I have this Selec-Tran, will I still have standard Jeeps 4H,4L modes? With central diff locked?
2. How is the central diff is locked when slippage occurs ? Electronically? Or Viscous coupling ?
Thanks!

Fairly certain it's a 5-position transfer case:
  1. 2wd; rear only
  2. 4wd Auto; rear only until slips then some power goes forward
  3. 4wd High; typical 50/50 operation
  4. Neutral
  5. 4wd Low; typical 50/50 low range
I understand it does not have a differential like other full-time units (e.g. Land Cruiser or G-Wagen) but I'm not certain how it sends power forward. In the traditional modes, it's a locking mechanism.
