Used to be that the 354" was actually a better choice than the 392", thicker cylinder walls.....

So a nice little weekend project.

I hope they are upgrading the cooling a lot. The diesel doesn't cool itself very well due to the tight engine bay, I can only imagine how hot that's going to get with a big V8 crammed in there.

Awesome congrats! This is something I am considering within the next year or so depending on how things go. What is the total cost out the door?

Looking forward to more pics and of course vids ;-)

Cheers

I spoke with someone that is a AMW dealer here in So Cal. They will do them but then you have to get out of Cal registered . But there is a rumor of talk at Mopar that the 392 could be a factory option in the future to boost JT sales. That would open the door to swaps in calif. But after doing the No Cal BDR and some trails up there not sure I want a 500+ HP V8 for trails.

Not an easy question to answer. I have been upgrading axles, suspension, steering, etc. for the last 2 years in prep for this. I will say that I will have as much, if not more, in upgrades than I paid for the Jeep.

Good news is Mopar will be offering the 354 in Q1 next year as a new crate option. Check out dcperformance.com or m0parinsiders for more details.

That radiator and exhaust are some nice pieces; attention to detail for the win!

I have been very please with JK Lands attention to detail. I was scheduled to pick it up this past weekend. They called with one small detail they said, I would probably never notice, but the owner asked to keep it a bit longer so that he could be 100% satisfied. Obviously the anticipation is killing me, but I can wait for perfection.
