Thank you! Your response has been recorded on the front page. Let us know when you reach the next milestone (100,000 miles)!Today
As I've said before, we love updates. At minimum, I'd like to see 50,000-mile updates. The guy on the Ram forum with 610,000 miles is happy to send updates at 5,000-mile increments! Not a milestone, but it looked cool.
610k? On a Ram 1500 EcoDiesel? How many rebuilds/engine replacements is that?As I've said before, we love updates. At minimum, I'd like to see 50,000-mile updates. The guy on the Ram forum with 610,000 miles is happy to send updates at 5,000-mile increments!

Yes, it was a Ram with stock tuning. I don't have a lot of high mileage Gen 3 EcoDiesels documented on the forum. That's promising.
Do you know if it was deleted or anything else done to it? Was this a Ram?
Seems like we Jeep owners just don't put the mileage on like the Ram owners. But I'd guess more of them are using their Rams for work, then we do our Jeeps.Yes, it was a Ram with stock tuning. I don't have a lot of high mileage Gen 3 EcoDiesels documented on the forum.

Dude needs to buy a lotto ticket. No rebuilds or engine replacements. 610,000 on his 2015 Ram EcoDiesel.
Well, he's had 4 EcoDiesels in his fleet (father and son operation). So far, he hasn't had any engine failures. The first truck got T-boned at an intersection. He wasn't happy about that. Truck's 1, 2, and 3 are all 2nd gen EcoDiesels. Truck 4 is a Gen 3 EcoDiesel. He will probably be the first to log 500,000 miles on the Gen 3 engine (assuming it makes it).Dude needs to buy a lotto ticket.
That's correct. Most everyone that is logging serious miles are using their trucks for work purposes. I did see a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel with over 530,000 miles. It was a mail carrier.Seems like we Jeep owners just don't put the mileage on like the Ram owners. But I'd guess more of them are using their Rams for work, then we do our Jeeps.
