OK, yea. Happy? unlikely. With that tongue weight you will sag pretty bad. I cant speak to how the JT will drive with the lift / tires / gears...but all of those mods decrease your cargo capacity and towing capacity. Ive read that the wheels specifically decrease towing capacity in relation to the increase in diameter. So, as an example, a %10 increase tire size equates to a %10 reduction in towing capability. Personally, I wont go above my 5,000lbs (max weight) TT @ 450lbs of tongue weight. If your TT shop is willing Id maybe ask them to hook up the TT you are looking at and see how it changes the stance of the JT. If you look like a pooping dog than its probably not the TT for you.I read all 7 pages and I am somewhat confused as what to do. I currently have a Rubicon 3.6 auto. It has 3.5” lift with 5.13 gear and soon will have 37” tires.
I am thinking about buying a camper that is about 5800lbs dry with 680lbs hitch weight. Assuming I get a break controller and WDH, will I be ok pulling the camper or is it too much?
