Well looking at this trailer to replace my old steel one, this one is all aluminum dry weight of 2540 lbs, tung weight 315 lbs 7 wide 18foot box,5 foot v as for the height/wind drag don’t think it would be much as it’s a sharp vee, all I am going to put in it is 3 sleds average 800 lbs to say, and in the summer my sxs, 21 rubicon eco diesel with tow package So even with 3 sleds and gear I figure around 4500 lbs anyone tow anything like this with theirs? Not new to towing I own. Medium duty trucks with 40 ft gooseneck trailers Let’s hear thoughts and post if you have something like this trailer

I had to use air bags to even keep the rear up off the tires. I had a 28’ car hauler. Tried pulling it twice with gladdy and it didn’t like it at all. That was with 3.6, but also a bit bigger. Similar weight I was probably just under 5k on that trip. I hated towing it with jeep. Didn’t feel safe at all. Stopping, wind, tractor trailers passing all felt sketchy.

Our 3500 dually is all I will be towing unless it’s the rzr or something smaller.

Your 28 car hauler was a steel frame I take it? ? I also have a 8.5x24 v nose steel enclosed , it weighs like4500 dry I wouldn’t think about hauling that with the rubicon I had a 2017 ram3500 dually as well but sold it and went to a bigger truck, for the gooseneck trailers, I have towed my 7.5x20 steel landscape trailer with the gladiator lots, with 2 sxs in it and gear and it did great can’t beat the diesel for the torque

Your truck should handle that just fine.

I tow a 27', ~5,100 lb (with all we want or need) travel trailer. No real issues. Then again, I have the WDH installed so that would help tremendously with controlling any sway induced by passing trucks. As far as being a V-6 (gas), I shift manually with my 8sp and, yeah, she reminds me sometimes she's only a V-6 so, I just drop a gear and keep on keepin' on :)

I'm guessing you won't be using the WDH as it's all aluminum and WDHs are not recommended for aluminum trailers as they can apparently twist/warp the frame?

All I'll say is that's a damn nice looking trailer. that v looks super sharp. Seems like there might not be much useful space up there with it being so narrow.

I do have one but will see how it is without first, I won’t have much weight in it 3 sleds and only a can am sxs in the summer I think it will tow excellent with the sharp v next to no wind drag

I totally agree with you on getting a "narrow" body if it suits your needs. That will just make towing that much easier not having to worry about those pesky mailboxes right at the edge of the road.

Perfect size, not to big, to wide ect.

Only thing with that nose is there is no WD set up you'll be able to use. I would be REALLY carful on your tongue weight. To heavy is bad so is to light.

Vs Airbags I went w sumo-springs and really like them.

I had the airlift add a bag. They worked great for squat and firmed things up a lot.

Was steel frame, yes. Also was almost empty though. Lol
I also have the add a mirror jk kit that clips onto the outside edge. A member here I think 3d prints the adapter and hooks on the JL mirrors.

well here she is I love it! Can see around it no issues, installing the red arc break controller in the Jeep this afternoon, ordered some air lift bags for the back just incase as I am looking to find a weight distribution hitch that will work with single beam tongue if there is such a thing? If not I think the bags will be fine time will tell 7.5x23 legend explorer series all aluminum
