Added more power outlets.

I used the QuadraTec power harness and added an additional 12v outlet and 2 USB 3.0 power outlets. The housing and outlets came from Amazon. It is actually located where I don’t come in contact with it with my right leg. I need to Dremel the leading edge to fit a bit more precisely, but over all it is a nice improvement. It is actually a bit smaller and Unobtrusive than the pics show. Closeups make it look big as hell!

Does not affect it one bit! It has a matching one on Passenger side also. Nice, cheap easy storage for loose items.

I think I have the same one as you. I put mine on the inside of the center console. Very helpful. I got tired of my phone always trying to connect to the radio when I just wanted to charge it. I also added an outlet to the rear of the console at the same time.

I did not go through the console for the rear seat outlet. I had the entire center console out of the jeep and there is enough room between the console and the back panel. This is where the rear window switches are. I do not have a picture of the inside of the connections. Hopefully, that answered your question.

Yep! Same one. I changed one of the 12v outlets to a Twin 3.0 USB.

I'm a bit late to the party. But where are you getting your 12V power from? I just had the Mopar brake controller installed and lost my power outlet.

I tapped into the rear power window wires. I wanted to ensure if the center console needed to be removed that it all came apart as a single unit. This of course means the outlets only work in the ACC or RUN mode but that is fine for the most part.

Thanks. That makes sense. When the dealer out here installed the controller today I had it in writing that I wanted to save the 12V outlet somehow even if it was just dangling down. The tech just couldn't seem to understand this. I talked with the manager and he said he would look into it but I think I'll have to do the research.
