Yeah that would stop him! I actually really don’t mind, he just jumps in the front seat whenever I’m getting gas and I’m out of the vehicle. He enjoys it and I don’t mind it.

Holy crap that is NOICE!!! I can't remove by seats, but if I was, this seems the way to go. Very sharp

i have used the hammocks in jeeps past and have never had any issue with them, i have a 140 lb Bernese mountain dog

Yes indeed, we have a Bernese also, she is only 11 months old but at least 85-90lbs right now. We had a crate for her in the back of my former JKU but now that we have a JT I'm trying to figure out options. What makes it a little bit complicated is that my daughter sits on the back passenger side, thus the 60% side. I'm open to removing the 40% side rear seat to make a flat area for our Bernese. I want it to be above all safe for her, and secondly comfortable .

We do have a Grand Cherokee which is for longer road trips, but for around town and outdoor adventures we'd like to use the JT with our puppy being with us.

Just took out the 60 part of the rear seat gave my dog 16 inches.

I think this is what I am going to do but do it taking out the 40% part, leave 2 seats for people riding in the back if need be! Love the creativity!
