Adding a front trailcam

Has anyone added a front trailcam to their Gladiator? I have a 2025 Mojave.

The Jeep front Trail Cam is only a factory installed option. It is not designed to be added to the system later.

There are threads from a few who have added it to prior model years. It involves adding components, running cables, and swapping the rear camera.

And IIRC it was around $1000 in parts plus knowing how to either make your own harness or buy one from a member here.

Never seen a 2024+ owner do it yet...should be possible tho.

Things to consider... does Uconnect 5 even use a CVPM? Is the BCM the same as 'OG' Gladiators? It's highly possible it is easier now.

I did mine years ago but things are probably different now.

Z-Automotive (Tazer) has them. Install is simple. You need the Tazer obviously. Quality is only 780. I never rely on it off roading anyways, just want to make sure I don’t fall off a cliff or hit someone in front breaking over something steep.

24/25 do have a CVPM. Looks identical. The mod instructions are likely to work if you buy that CVPM and follow the rest of the install + buy the correct rear camera. As always, nothing is guaranteed.

I recommend the Wolfbox tri pro 900. Mirror based dashcam with a third trail camera. They’re a forum sponsor. @WOLFBOX

you get way more functionality for less money than the difficult task of adding a factory trsilcam. And you can still get a hood lock, which conflicts with the factory trail camera
